She is a personal injury attorney licensed to practice law in Nevada state and federal courts and Washington state courts. The first stage of Ms. Van’s career was spent handling civil litigation, business litigation, contract disputes, and other matters for various local firms. Then in 2012, she founded Van Law Firm with just two other employees. In the years since the firm has grown to a staff of over 100. Van Law Firm currently has two locations--one in Las Vegas and the other in Lakewood, Washington.
In her practice thus far, Ms. Van has amassed numerous awards and industry honors. Nevada Business Press named her one of the state’s “Legal Elite” from 2013-2016, and again in 2018. In both 2014 and 2015, Desert Companion Magazine awarded Sandy the Top Lawyer award, and Super Lawyers included her in their “Rising Stars'' category every year from 2015-2019. Client service and versatility are both hallmarks of Van Law Firm, as tailored strategies are applied to each case depending on the accident itself and the specific insurers involved. Unlike most successful firms, VLF only takes on a certain number of cases at any given time, which ensures that each case gets the attention it deserves in order to recover maximum compensation. Clients have recognized these efforts with over 500 5-star reviews across Avvo, Google, and Yelp.
Above all, Ms. Van and the entire Van Law Firm staff are passionate about serving the community. Over the years, she has donated tens of thousands of dollars and countless hours to various causes such as local food banks and supply drives for Clark County students and teachers. This sense of community also extends nationwide, as Ms. Van has also contributed to hurricane relief efforts and natural disasters across the country.
