PHENOMENAL

Marshall Willick represented me in my child custody case. And he did an incredible job I seriously could not ask for a better lawyer. I had a huge hiccup with my previous one, and let's just say they really dropped the ball. I was actually refereed to Willicks office from my aunt that lives in Chica...go from her lawyer. I had a consultation with them and I already felt 100xs better just by explaining my situation. If you want a lawyer that will definitely have your back and is willingbto bat for you Willick is the way! I could not be more pleased on how the outcome came out! Thank you again to all Willick and employees.

NPERS case

Marshall called me back on Saturday after I left a message to inquire about retaining him for my case. His firm didn't nickel and dime me on everything and were very responsive to my concerns. If you need an attorney for a NPERS case they are the right ones to pick.

Respected legal scholar, teacher

I highly recommend Marshal Willick as a family law attorney. I consulted with Marshal after my previous lawyer had made an epic disaster of my case. Marshal and his staff were able to quickly organize and realign my case toward a resolution, running the gamut from division of military benefits to chi...ld custody resolution. I always received prompt response from his incredibly helpful staff when I had questions or issues arose; Brenda never disappoints from her desk at the front office, and my assigned paralegal Tisha was simply worth her weight in gold! Marshal has the heart of a teacher, beginning with pre-consultation homework, where his website and published works constitute a treasure trove of information; he encourages study and participation in the process and decision making. The staff was always mindful of my time and my money; if a task could be handled with Tricia, or on my own, then the low-cost option was always given. Marshal prioritizes readiness for court, and sets reasonable expectations drawn from considerable experience. In the courtroom, Marshal's presence is unmistakably respected; he speaks softly, clearly, and precisely. Overall, Marshal's guidance of my case, through the most stressful times, was solid and reassuring.

Rate service of Willick Law Firm

Very professional law group. Mr Willick is well-versed on military divorce law and defended my late husbands Trust in Court and end results of the case filed by his former spouse in connection with a Survivor's Benefit claim had no validity.

Excellent attorney with a very responsive staff

Marshal Willick is an excellent attorney with an extensive knowledge of family law. Mr. Willick is an expert on issues related to international custody disputes. If you are facing a divorce and your spouse is a citizen of a foreign country Mr. Willick is the attorney for you. In Nevada there seem...s to a trend for lawyers to advise their client to flee the jurisdiction if they are a foreign citizen. Mr. Willick is one of the very few attorneys in Nevada that can help you with a 125(D) Abduction Prevention order to keep your child in Nevada until a final custody determination is made. Unfortunately judges typically give the benefit of the doubt to parents and a joint preliminary injunction is insufficient to keep a child in the US. If your child has foreign citizenship the foreign citizen parent will be able to take your child out of the US even if they are also US citizens. Only a 125(D) Abduction Prevention order that transfers the physical custody of the child to the US citizen parent can prevent the international parental child abduction and Marshal Willick is the lawyer you will need to have to get this order in Nevada. Marshal Willick was able to cut through all of the false claims made by the opposing counsel and to clearly spell out Nevada law regarding jurisdiction, custody, and property division. I only wished I had found him first as it would have saved me tens of thousands of dollars of legal fees, prevented an international parent child kidnapping, and months of heartache as I have been cruelly separated from my daughter. Other lawyers will say anything and file anything in an attempt to cause conflict and increase their fees. Mr. Willick was very professional and straight forward. His professionalism immediately reduced the conflict in court and neutralize the false statements and multiple errors in law and fact made by the opposing counsel. It is amazing what lawyers will file and state in court without shame or fear of consequences. You need a lawyer like Marshal Willick who tell you straight forward what you can file and what the law is so that you can avoid a costly legal case. Marshal Willick was able to resolve my case and to defend the decision at the Nevada Supreme Court. He is an excellent trial and appellate attorney. And Marhsal's staff is excellent and very responsive. I was always able to get answers from the paralegals and staff handling my case via email and phone.

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
