I had to go through the scary experience of bankruptcy and I choose to have Dorothy Bunce represent me. What an excellent decision!! She really knows what she's doing, she came up with all kinds of solutions for me, any time I needed a question answered she was there immediately with a response, she'...s patient and really knows how to handle business. I got my discharge. She always kept her word to me and pointed out a number of loopholes that also really helped me. I went with her because of her vast experience and it was definitely the right decision. Thank you Dorothy I couldn't have done this with anyone else. I highly recommend her!!

Part of the reason we dug ourselves so deep into our hole was that we were so afraid of all the unknowns of bankruptcy. We were ashamed, scared, and feeling pretty helpless. We just kept on running across Dorothy and her awesome reviews. We finally reached out to her and set up our first meeting. From that initial moment, all the way until today we are certain that was the best choice we could have made. Dorthy made things simple. Dorothy did not judge us. Dorothy kept us up to date and even reminded us when we had important papers due. For the intimidating meeting with the trustee, Dorothy prepped us, was there with us in the courtroom so we felt at ease the whole time. Bankruptcy was not a simple choice in any way. There are many mountains of paperwork, looming due dates, ever changing court schedules, but Dorothy guided us through it all and set us back on our feet. Dorothy help us thru not only with our bankruptcy case, but also with a very complicated loan modification. From the minute we sat down in her office, she made us feel like finally, everything would be taken care of. She was always prompt in returning our phone calls and responded quickly to EVERY SI...NGLE email I ever sent her. Which is a big deal. She kept us updated and informed on each and every phase of our case. I always felt that no matter what was going on with our case, that she had complete control of the situation and we never had to worry. All her fees were more than reasonable and never did she try to get "an extention" , so it would cost us more because of extra time that she might need. I couldn't be more please or satisfisfied with Dorothy's work, her attitude and her willingness to go the extra mile for us. She is truly one of the best lawyers in Las Vegas. She saved my home AND got me a loan modification all at once. Great job.

I was very surprised to see positive reviews for this attorney and had to share my experience. About 6 years ago I was experiencing some severe financial issues, loss of job, payday loans and many many bills. I didn't know what to do and saw bankruptcy as my only option. After researching attorney'...s Ms. Bunce seemed like a good choice because her advertisements billed her as someone who cares. I went to her office which was a converted home on Eastern Avenue. The home was kind of dingy and I was a little nervous. She talked about going to Mexico and it looked like she was packing up the office. She seemed very nice, though, and told me that to represent me she would need $795 cash. I believe that $295 of it she said was for court filing and $500 was for the bankruptcy. I knew the price before I set up my appointment so I had the money on me and I paid her cash. Then while still in her office she told me she needed to check my credit. Instead of going through what I would consider ethical channels, she used some site for a free credit report and asked me a lot of personal questions so she could get the report for free I was feeling very uneasy at this point but I had already paid her and I was hoping against hope that she was legitimate. I called many times and never received a call back. I thought she had fled to Mexico since she was talking about Mexico when I was there. It took me a few weeks to really realize it but I knew that deep down I had been ripped off and chalked it up to not listening to my inner voice when I saw that home and it looked like she was moving out. Imagine my surprise a few months later when I received a bill for $1000 that was kind of threatening. Never did one thing for me or return my calls and that if she bothered me ever again I would report her. I never heard from her again. I am sorry I did not pursue action against her but I was barely able to afford the money I had already paid her and could not afford to hire another attorney. Based on her location and my impression of her office, I had the impression that she preyed upon the less fortunate. It was an expensive lesson for me and I would not recommend Dorothy Bunce.
