James Patrick Doan

California Bankruptcy Attorney James Doan is managing partner of Doan Law Group (Brothers Law Group, LLP). His father and four brothers are also attorneys, as well as several uncles and cousins. He is the second oldest of the five brothers, and collectively, the Doan Attorneys are California's Largest Family of Attorneys.

James graduated from Mater Dei High School in 1989 and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Psychology from University of San Diego in 1993. James attended San Joaquin College of Law in Clovis while working and gaining practical experience with his uncle, Attorney Val J. Dornay, before graduating with his Juris Doctorate degree in 1996.

James returned to Southern California, where he has since been practicing primarily bankruptcy law. James is likewise proficient in personal injury, workers compensation, immigration, and adoption law.

James has successfully represented thousands of clients in bankruptcy proceedings throughout the entire State of California.

James is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of California and the United States Bankruptcy Courts in the Southern, Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts. 

James is also an active real estate broker in the state of California and a member of the San Diego County Association of Realtors.
