Biography

David Jacks was born and raised in Las Vegas and is a veteran of the United States Army. After the completion of his service in the military, David became a construction superintendent in Las Vegas during a major period of growth for the city. Following this, David went to college at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and became a law clerk for a local law firm. Once David earned his undergraduate degree in political science with a focus in public law, he entered law school with the aspiration to one day have his own legal practice. During his studies, David gained knowledge of a wide array of legal topics, but he primarily focused on family law as this was going to be the backbone in which he wanted to build a law firm.

Following law school in 2010, David passed the Nevada Bar Exam in 2011 and accomplished his goal of opening up his own law practice and focusing in family law. In family law, David represents clients when they are getting divorced, have child custody issues, if the client needs to relocate with children or prevent a relocation if a former partner is trying to relocate with children.

Throughout the time he has spent in practice, David has represented thousands of clients all across Clark County. In addition to this, David's appetite for knowledge and constant desire to improve has led him to participate in the Family Law Conference in 2006, 2012-2019 and attend many Advanced Family Law continuing legal education courses. To the best of David's knowledge, David is also the only attorney in existence who is a graduate of The Trial Lawyer's College and also a graduate of the National Family Law Trial Institute.

In 2019, David returned to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas to obtain a decree in accounting. Once completed, David will obtain his Masters of Law in Taxation and add tax law to his practice.

David has been the recipient of more than twenty awards in the legal field. While David humbly accepted these awards, David focuses on the present by studying constantly to become a better attorney for his clients.

AMAZING!

Mr. Jack, Did both my cases at once for child custody and grandparent rights. We randomly got a referral for him from another law office that was full on clients, and We are so glad we did. He was there since the first day to the last and more. Anytime I needed to call him, he was there and answe...red. This was my first time with anything court related like this, and he made me feel much calmer. I’d worry, and ask him a million things and he’d answer all million and told me how it is, how it works and so forth. He got us exactly what we wanted from grandparent rights to the custody case (actually more then we expected, cause 1 phone call a week was much better then the 2 they normally get). The thing we loved was he was always honest and straight forward, he will tell you a apple is a apple, not make you think a apples a orange weather you like it or not and he is right, and keeps you in reality, and that’s what you need when your using you hard earned money, you want it to go to something you know will be worth it verse a lawyer who will just Milk you for your money. We absolutely appreciate and loved having Mr. jack & if we need him again we will be back without a doubt. Thank you for all you did & always treating us like people & understanding. If your looking for family, or personal injury, he will get you the results. If you have questions he will do a consult and of any places I called I can tell you his was by far the best, he actually will look at your case and see & tell you which is also something that sold us of all 23 places he was the ONLY one to take a look and give a honest advice, like really out of his time and day not even knowing if we’d retain him, that there shows how much he cares for people and the big hearty he has! Divorce

David was very helpful with my divorce, he covered every step of the process, he clearly explained what needed to take place in order to have as painless a court ruling in my favor as possible. At court David initiated negotiations with my ex and we were able to settle the conditions before we stepp...ed inside the courtroom. I feel that I had the best representation possible. Complicated Long Distance Divorce Case

My particular case was somewhat complicated, as are most, with tons of small details pertaining to my military pension, marital assets, and previous marital debts. I reside accross the country from the case origination so all correspondence with Mr. Jacks and his asscociates had to be accomplished o...n the phone and via email. I was terrified that something would be ommitted or lossed this way without me being there but nothing was overlooked. When i received the documents from his office that listed our counter divorce complaints, it was 100% accurate and precise. I was astounded that they recalled all my concerns and actually listed them each as i had hoped. The end result of Mr.Jacks and his team standing my ground in my absence could not have concluded any better. I had nothing to gain and everything to lose with innaccurate details and accusations being brought foward by my spouses attorney. Mr. Jacks squashed most if not all of these just by taking the time to research the facts and simply provide them to our opponents. I plan to keep him as my personal attorney for the future and would HIGHLY reccomend his services to anyone near or far from Las Vegas.
