This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.
This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

I contacted Mr. Kleinman on November 18th, 2014 to help write up a simple partner buyout agreement. The terms were already agreed upon by the parties, he need only put it into a document and make it official. He said it was a simple document and the fee would be $400. He sent me an agreement to do the work outlining the price. I signed the agreement , scanned it and emailed it back to him.
A few days later he contacted me and said the draft was completed and he needed the payment in full before he could send it. I called and talk to Mr. Kleinman on the phone and he took my credit card information and my card was charged. He said he would send a draft copy of the buyout agreement the next day. That never happened. Since it was December, I thought he probably got busy with the holidays, as to the reason why he didn’t send the document.
It is now the 15th of January, 2015 and I have called his office multiple times and have sent multiple emails. Both go unanswered. I have elevated his lack of professionalism to the State Bar of Arizona as of today in an attempt to recoup the money I paid for a document never received.

I met Brent years ago and kept in touch with him through the years. It was then time that I was ready to start my own small business. Brent is patient, understanding, personable, and helpful. He treasures his working relationships and is a great attorney! I have referred many others and will continue to refer more because I know they will be getting top notch service.
