I hired Mr.Kurt this morning the reason for my reviews is that I was calling him to ask for relocation because I feel I could do better where I have family and he listens to me and never interrupted he then told me he had good news and bad I asked for the bad he told.me.my twins dad had filed a motio...n to show cause it was horrible to hear that he actually filed this same thing he filed before I am low income but Mr.Smith offered me a few options that shows he cares I was in tears becAuse I felt I needed someone who would and could understand I am a single mother trying to make it without two parent household and he understood and was compassionate I haven't been to court yet but I for me.this is one of the most important step is having someone understand thAnk you Mr.Smith love Kawanda Robinson and family.

Attorney Smith has been our attorney for the past 5 years and assisted our family with not only family law case but also personal injury and a real estate dispute. His new staff is phenomenal and quick to answer my questions and set me up with meeting with Attorney Smith to assist me along the way. ... What I appreciate most is how Mr. Smith walked me through the process, what to expect, and has prepared me for the outcome. He took my calls late into the evening and answered emails on the weekends. I'm not sure he sleeps. His staff sends me every document as it is filed with the court and explains what each step means. Overwhelmed with the kindness and care during very difficult circumstances.

I was married to a lawyer here in town. My husband wanted to do all of the divorce papers himself so that we could "save money". My husband explained that because he is a lawyer, he knows the law. He wrote up all the paperwork and told me to sign it right away or I would get nothing. I was scared.... I almost signed. Instead, I called Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith reviewed my paperwork for free. He showed my the parts of the paperwork that worked, showed me where my husband was playing games, and showed me where my husband was 100% wrong. He explained how Nevada law REALLY worked and what a judge was likely to rule if we went to trial. I decided to hire Mr. Smith to help me. Best decision ever. Mr. Smith wrote a letter to my husband and told him about the changes I wanted to make to the paperwork. After getting the paperwork, my husband was so mad! He came home and stormed around the house for a few days. (Yes...we were still living together.) A few days later, my husband handed me a new set of divorce paperwork. Guess what was in it...EVERTHING MR. SMITH ASKED FOR!!! I signed the papers that day and we were divorced a week later. My jack*ss ex moved out (I got the house!) and I have never been happier. Best part? It cost me under a thousand dollars. I know attorneys. I was married to one. Most of the attorneys I know are total DBs. Not this guy. Chill, smart, funny, and apparently, at least based on what happened with my ex, better at the law than most other attorneys in town. I would hire him again in a second (but I don't need to because I am never getting married again.) Thanks Kurt!

First let me start this review by saying I have one of the toughest cases to under take. Not only am I up against big names in the legal industry that do not pay legal fees- but are extremely experienced. I have retained some of the most well known senior attorneys in custody matters prior and NONE... of them have compared to Kurt Smith. Kurt is patient, kind, knowledgeable, grounded and genuine. He is not afraid of hard work and tough cases. Kurt catches things and views things other high- priced attorneys could not. I have unfortunately read my share of pleadings and Kurt's writing talent is superior to any attorney I have read. Not only is he the most ethical lawyer I have encountered- but his team Mark and Terri are amazing as well. Mark Anderson is an outstanding trial attorney. He is so well read and takes the time to know every detail and prepare. Terri, Kurt's paralegal is hard working, brilliant and dedicated. The amount of time and care she has devoted to my children and I's cause will never be forgotten and forever appreciated. This firm CARES about much more than taking your next retainer payment. They are the "good guys" in what has become a very lost and troubling family court system in Nevada.

The legal document covered everything and more, ensuring all went smoothly with my next steps. I was so pleased and wound up saving thousands of dollars by taking Kurt's advice. It was clear to me from there on that Kurt will always be a family lawyer I will trust for any future needs. Everything was easy after that. I don't know what I would have done without Kurt's professionalism, and in depth knowledge of the family legal system. The stress relief felt like a huge weight off my shoulders. I highly recommend Kurt to anyone looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable lawyer, who will get things done at the drop of a hat and cover more than you even expected. Kurt, I cant thank you enough!
