Look elsewhere

My experience with Brian and his assistant Marilyn during a probate case was extremely frustrating. Brian’s communication was consistently lacking—updates were minimal and I was left in the dark about a sizable error about royalty percentages in my own case. Marilyn, in particular, made the proces...s even more difficult. Nearly every interaction involved her complaining about how overwhelmed or stressed she was, rather than providing clear information or assistance. Her attitude came across as unprofessional and dismissive, and it added unnecessary frustration to an already stressful situation. When you’re dealing with probate, you expect competence and steadiness—not ongoing complaints from the person who’s supposed to be helping you. While the case eventually got completed, the experience was far more chaotic and draining than it needed to be. Based on the lack of communication and the unprofessional behavior I dealt with, I cannot recommend this team.

Adult guardianship

He was extremely professional and compassionate and explained to me very clearly what I needed to do.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
