Kristen A Martin

Kristen Martin has the high distinction of being a Certified Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization. Ms. Martin has practiced exclusively family law for over twelve years and has developed an excellent reputation for her work. Ms. Martin regards the numerous personal referrals from other attorney's with whom she has worked and from prior clients as the highest compliment and confirmation of her professional and interpersonal skills.

Not only does Ms. Martin enjoy the personal interaction her work in Family Law affords her, but she is focused on ensuring her clients are well informed and feel in control of their case. In all aspects of her representation, from negotiating a settlement to litigating a case in the courtroom, Ms. Martin is able to offer her clients an unwavering commitment to the highest level of professionalism and preparedness, coupled with compassion and understanding of the complex and emotional issues involved in all family law related matters.

Ms. Martin grew up in Pennsylvania and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from The Pennsylvania State University in 1995 where she majored in Human Development and Family Studies. While at Penn State, Ms. Martin was a member of Kappa Omicron Nu, a national honor society, and was a teaching assistant for several family studies and sociology courses. Ms. Martin's education focus on child development, marriage and family relationships and sociology offer a unique perspective and solid foundation for her work in the area of family law.

Ms. Martin is a 2000 graduate of the Arizona State University College of Law. During law school, Ms. Martin served on the board of the Women's Law Students Association and performed pro bono work for the Domestic Violence Advocacy Program and the Arizona State Attorney General's Office, Consumer Conciliation Program.

Ms. Martin is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association Family Law Section and the State Bar of Arizona Family Law Section. Ms. Martin was also an active a member of the Sandra Day O'Connor Inn of Court, an organization committed to ethics and professionalism in the practice of law.
