I contacted Mr. Harwin for a false drug trafficking charge that my son was accused of. He was already on probation for an unrelated incident, so Mr. Harwin took on the probation case as well as the felony drug charge. He was forthright that the case might be lengthy one and was confident that he co...uld get the charge dropped. After a two-year long case he ended up getting my son acquitted just before the case went to trial. Mr. Harwin has the ability to keep you in the loop with all that is going on and so compassionate with his clients.

This is one of the more interesting reviews that I have written. It is difficult to admit to a group of strangers that I found myself in need of a lawyer to defend me against a DUI. I will start by saying that Mr. Harwin was refereed to me by a business partner and he said “This guy is the best”. I... took it upon myself to reach out to a judge I know as well, and she also said that he is a real shark. With this in mind I felt confident that this was the right move. During the consultation I felt more like I was talking to a friend than a lawyer, but a very smart, straight shooting friend, who was going to do his best for me but always give it to me straight. With that in mind, Mr. Harwin told me I was in a bad spot, and would probably have to serve a jail sentence. (He did say he would get me house arrest instead to being behind bars) The cards were stacked against me, and because I had previously had a DUI this one could have turned into a felony, which we didn’t want to happen obviously. Even after this bad news I still felt like I was in the best and most capable hands, and it wasn’t exactly a shock, I already basically knew that information going into this. I decided to move forward. Lety, the real brains of the operation, was so great to work with, she was always a phone call away, quick with email correspondence, and always on top of everything. It was a pleasure having someone to deal with who was so on top of things. You can tell that Mr. Harwin and Her have been a team for 25 years. I don’t want to bore everyone with a play by play of the entire court case so let me sum things up for everyone. I had a tough case, and was expecting to get the best possible outcome, which would probably still involve a guilty plead. Mr. Harwin never gave me any false hopes, and told me he would work hard to do his best and always guide me on what he thought the best course of action would be. After many months of waiting I was called one day and told that my entire case had been dropped and I was a free man, no fines, no fees, and jail, and NO GUILTY VERDICT. I am not suggesting that every case will end this way with Mr. Harwin, but after the experience I have had with him and Lety, I truly believe that he is the best at what he does, and that is only possible because he works so diligently with Lety who is the best at what she does. This team is unstoppable in my opinion, and I would trust them full heartedly with any future issues for myself or anyone else I know. If you are unfortunately in need of someone like Mr. Harwin, then I would say you would be fortunate to have HIM in your corner. P.S. You better treat Lety well, she deserves nothing but the utmost respect and kindness, and if you don’t I am coming for you!

Getting arrested for a DUI is a situation I never ever thought I would be in. I felt ashamed, afraid, and lost; I thought my life was over, and any future career or scholastic opportunities were out the window. I consulted and spoke to 4 different lawyers, then Michael called me back. Before I had ev...en retained him, he and Lety had written a letter to the DMV requesting an earlier hearing regarding my license, that action alone assured me I was about to make the right decision. From the moment we spoke he immediately put me at ease, reassured me that this would not ruin my life, and instilled in me the confidence that no matter the outcome, I would be okay. For the past year every time I have spoken to Michael he has made me feel like a person, not just another case. He genuinely cares and inquires about my life and my goals and has wanted to do everything in his power to ensure I could meet them. Today I got a personal call from him, my case has been dismissed. An outcome I could have only dreamt of is now a reality. Getting arrested for a DUI is never a situation you want to find yourself in, and it is frightening. However, if you do find yourself there THE person to call is Michael. He cares, not just about your case, but about you. He is honest and direct, but always reassuring and kind.
