Brian is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and a member of the Professional Chapter of the J. Reuben Law Clark Society. Brian has served on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyer's Division of the Maricopa County Bar Association and is still an active member of the Maricopa County Bar Association.
Brian received a certificate in mediation training while in law school and was one of the flagship members of the American Indian Law Clinic. Brian served on the Executive Board of the Phoenix School of Law Student Bar Association. Brian also participated in many volunteer organization activities and events which included the Phoenix School of Law High School Law Day, Phoenix School of Law Day of Service, Wills For Heroes with the State Bar of Arizona and gave time to the Volunteer Lawyers Program Friends of the Bankruptcy Court. Brian also participated in focus groups and in evaluating potential faculty members during their onsite interviews with the law school.
Brian has continued his commitment to volunteering and has participated in the Volunteer Lawyers Program Debt Clinic and volunteers his time doing Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") for the Maricopa County Superior Court and other volutneer activities.
Prior to his undergraduate and law school career, Brian served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Montreal Quebec where he learned to speak French. Brian finds great strength and support in his faith as well as family relationships. Brian is married to a wonderful woman who is a great strength and support in all that he does. Brian and Bethany have four children. Brian loves camping, basketball, racquetball, woodworking and getting together with family and friends to play card or board games.
