I continue to work in the area of family law and with guardianships and adoptions because of the people I get to work with and to help families as they transition to a new stage in their lives. 

My husband and I met in law school.  We worked in differing jobs over the years which gave us significant experiences, but chose to establish a firm together in 2003.  He handles civil litigation and education matters.  Together with our co counsel Ali Abella Korte and staff, we are a team committed to the needs of our clients.

  I like approaching family law from a variety of ways, whether collaborative, serving as the mediator, or individual representation.  My years as a judge pro tem give yet another perspective.  I regularly meet or exceed my training requirements.  All of this helps me stay focused on the needs of the individual I am helping and what approach is best for them.
