Biography
I focus my practice solely in the area of family law at Udall Shumway, PLC in the greater Phoenix area.
I am an Arizona native, born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona. However, I moved away from my roots to attend Arizona State University in Tempe and have remained in the Valley ever since. In my four years at Arizona State, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies/ Pre-Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Communication.
Two years after graduation from Arizona State, I returned to school to realize my long-time goal of becoming an attorney. While in law school, I was Treasurer for the school’s Justice Project, a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, volunteered as a “friend of the court” for the United States Bankruptcy Court, volunteered with the Arizona Justice Project and was an extern at the Maricopa County Superior Court in the Family Law division. I committed significant time and study specifically to Alternative Dispute Resolution techniques and received honors as the top student in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Trial Practice.
Since graduating from law school, I gained significant experience in a wide array of litigation and appellate techniques at a civil litigation firm in Scottsdale, and owned my own Family Law practice in Arizona.
