I recently filed Chapter 7 and I found Stuart Swanson to be very caring and supportive at this difficult time in my life. He answered my questions, and believe me, I had many, and assured me everything would be fine. Before I knew it I had my final hearing and a lot of my stress is gone thanks to S...tuart. My wife and i had to file bankruptcy and go thru a foreclosure. Stuart Swanson handled our bankruptcy, and Joann Dinneen is handling our foreclosure. He knows the bankruptcy laws and answered all questions and worries that we had even before we filed. Stuart explained everything in a matter that ...a person who is not a lawyer can understand and he is understanding of your situation. Joann explained the foreclosure process to us and is very knowledgeable and professional. When we have emailed Stuart or David Cutler or Joann, they all answer your emails in a timely manner. My wife and I highly recommend Stuart Swanson and David Cutler and Joann Dinneen. All the staff at Cutler and associates is very professional and courteous. I have had several conversations with both David and Stuart over the years and they both are very knowledge lawyers and easy to talk to. My wife and I were very nervous about filing and kept putting it off and putting it off until we got up enough courage to make the first phone call admitting we were in trouble. After that first phone call there is like a weight lifted off your shoulders. ANY questions you have will be answered and explained to you. We cant say enough GOOD about Stuart and David and Joann, they are all nice people. My wife and I are just regular people who needed help and we got it!!!!! If your in trouble do yourself a favor and call and at least talk to them and explain your situation, believe me, they know the laws.

Stuart Swanson is a very competent and professional bankruptcy attorney. His fees are reasonable. When you start with him he enters all your information into his computer, let's you read it as he goes - he's totally open book about everything. You'll understand the process after the first meeting. He... explains the difference between Chap 7 and Chap 11. After that you can interact with him entirely via email - he's tech savvy enough to deal with that just fine. Bankruptcy is really just a technical process with a paper trail and a simple hearing. It's not that complicated and dealing with Stuart makes it that way. He may charge slightly more than others in the area- only slightly - but that is worth it. He's also a good guy, a nice person. He's dealing with many, many of these hearings each year, but he will know who you are and be able to respond in a timely manner no problem. He's be there for your hearing, side by side with you, and he tells you what to say and what not to say. I honestly can't recommend him enough. He's forthright, truthful, clear, nice, funny, patient. Hey, his office is not the fanciest in the world - it's a basic Skokie office. If you're in the need of this, I'd go see Stuart, he'll put your mind at ease and get you on the the next chapter (so to speak) of your life.
