This firm helped me with my bankruptcy filing in 2015 and I couldn't be happier. They got my filings done, showed up timely to my appearance before the judge, and were so patient with me during a difficult time. Hopefully I never have to use them for a bankruptcy again, but I will sincerely recomm...end them to a friend in need.

I filed for bankruptcy myself. I didn't have knowledge of the law nor the resources to hire an attorney by the time I filed. Since I tried to handle my case myself, I read a lot on Google. Along with the confusing internet information, I read that it is very important to hire an attorney because less... than 2% of people who file for bankruptcy file without an attorney. As a result of this, they are at great risk of having very unsuccessful outcomes in their bankruptcy cases. I would have hired David Cutler & Associates, Ltd. in the first place, but I didn't have the resources to do so. Once I did, I met David, and he and his support staff took over my case. I greatly appreciate all of the legal knowledge and professionalism they have.   David said your bankruptcy case will only fail if you don’t to the necessary work required. I did do the work and so did David Cutler & Associates, Ltd.   David is a confident, direct and fast-paced person who stated when my bankruptcy would be done and he kept within this time frame. I know that he and his staff put a lot of work in to my case. I recommend David to everyone.  

David was absolutely fantastic. He explained everything to me and told me the steps before they happened. Also, if I had questions he was never two busy. He may have to call you back but he returned your call promptly. Everything went smoothly and nothing was delayed. As long as you as a client do yo...ur part.

It was late on a Saturday afternoon, I filled out their online after hours attorney request within one hour Stewart Swanson contacted me and we had a appointment set. He made it easy to work with and was very informative. The main thing about the firm and Stewart in particular is any time I had a... question or need to get in contact with him or anyone else it was easy and they contacted me quickly! And that is what makes the difference for me! Thats why I do refer them to everyone !

Let me start by saying I'm a picky person and I generally have low tolerance for lawyers who seem to want to be treated differently than other professionals who are equally experienced in their fields. I expect anyone I work with to use diligent communication, straight forward advice, patience, and w...illingness to help the person understand -- be it a plumber, politician, architect, lawyer, or the person who makes my sandwich. I hired this firm to handle a bankruptcy case that involved investment real estate. They were in the middle of an office move at the time and it seemed to cause some issues with meetings being rescheduled, etc, but all in all I received the discharge. Everything went smoothly and all my nagging/detailed questions were answered. Several months later, when the real estate finally was falling off, an issue came up with creditor for the property seeking collection activities/deficiency. This clearly isn't allowed given the discharge. Stuart, after an email and phone call, took care of the issue that evening and sent communication to the creditor that resulted in them back tracking and removing collection attempts. Cutler & Assoc (I worked w/Stuart specifically) is a well respected place that gets the job done. Do they always communicate perfectly? No. Do they know what they are doing? Yes. If you have a road bump come 3-6 months later, as in my case, do they stand by their work? Yes. Do I get the impression they at times forget what it's like to be on the other-we-dont-understand-what's-going-on-side? Yeah, but I think any professional does over time. Patience explaining and empathy towards a client's fears/worries they could improve on. People naturally get nervous and worried regarding legal matters, shouldn't be surprising. This is the firm to hire if you want a high class, get the job done, and service oriented firm. They aren't perfect, but they work with you, address what you raise, and they have a high integrity and work ethic. I would definitely recommend them for Bankruptcy cases. If anything, they are too busy, but that's a good sign.
