Bret Andrew Royle

Bret Royle was referred to me by another well known high profile AZ attorney. My son was arrested and was charged with a felony so I contacted Bret. Bret advised me that since it was his first offence that it was no need to retain him and just stick with the public defender. He explained that the fe...lony would most likely be dropped to a misdemeanor therefore my son would avoid jail and given probation. He said no need to spend money on an attorney when the outcome with the public defender would likely be the same. And that's exactly what happened. My son got probation. I was sold on Bret from that point. How many attorneys would tell you to keep your money. Well a few months later my son was arrested once again. This time it was a more serious offence. I contacted Bret once again and we decided that he should represent my son. He was charged with 2 crimes. One being a class 5 felony in which he could be sentenced to jail or even prison. From the beginning to the end Bret was always available to answer any questions and makes you feel very comfortable. He is very knowledgeable of the legal system. We were very pleased with the outcome. He was able to get the class 5 felony reduced to a class 6 felony and the other charge dropped altogether. My son received 1 year of probation and no jail. And after 1 year of successful probation the class 6 felony will be dropped to a misdemeanor. I would highly recommend Bret Royle.

Awesome lawyer, Bret went above and beyond while fighting my charges. He covered every single option available to me and dug thorough paperwork with a fine tooth comb to make sure nothing was missed. He also was in constant contact with me, whether it was related to the case or not. I have never done a review like this before. But after my experience with Mr. Royle. I wanted to do a review for this wonderful lawyer, Bret Royle. I found myself in the most unenviable position. My only daughter was in trouble. I did not know where to turn. I read so many reviews but I did not... trust them. Today people hire others to write good review about them. But my previous lawyer, a good lawyer was busy on a case and I knew I had to look elsewhere. Mr. Royle was recommended to me. I thought, why not. I don't know many lawyers and I was of the opinion that one is as good as another. Well I was so wrong. I hit GOLD. This man helped us beyond the imagination. His knowledge of the law was indisputable. He not only helped us but never made us feel small or a nuisance. And mind you, I was a nuisance. I was a scared mother with an adult daughter that had made bad choices. I was petrified for my daughter and the outcome of this case. Most lawyers wanted not only my right arm but also my right leg. And they promised me nothing. But Bret Royle was reasonable. He was sure he could help us and explain every aspect of what we were facing. I now know that what I paid him did not do him justice. And if I had the money, I would have paid him triple of what I paid. He was in constant communication with me and my daughter. He answered our phone calls. He went beyond the call of duty. When I needed him to visit her in the jail, he did. What he did for my daughter could not be weight in gold. He did not paint an unrealistic picture for my daughter and then brought us another outcome. No. He worked hard to get us an outcome we could live with and made it happened. He made us be realistic as to the outcome. But he made the outcome so much better than either of us ever dream possible. The public defender wanted us to take a plea and for her to serve years. Instead we took a plea and she is only serving months. When She comes out she will not be on probation. No, once her time is up, it is up. No more strings. All this because this lawyer, Bret Royle cared enough to do right by my daughter. And he helped her beyond the call of duty. Did we hit GOLD? You bet! Most lawyer take their money and run after the trial. Not this lawyer. He went to see her in jail after it was all said and done. Why. Because he is a good lawyer and he cares. He encouraged her. And he still addressed my concerns. Yes, I hit GOLD with this wonderful lawyer, Bret Royle. And I want to say, thank you. Sir, you are a great lawyer and but even a better man.

Bret has a gift. Not only did he get me the absolute BEST outcome for my case, he made it feel nearly effortless. Getting "busted" (for lack of a better term) was devastating to me but he made the entire ordeal go SO smoothly, I almost enjoyed it. In addition to his superb understanding of the law, h...e was also excellent at helping me cover all bases necessary to make sure my case became "water under the bridge" as soon as possible. Our time together is almost through and I can say I will sincerely miss our communication. If you are in a "situation," he will take care of you thoroughly. My goal was to not to regret my experience with the law (quite a lofty goal!) but he made it happen. After each meeting with him, I left feeling great. He really is on your side and NOTHING feels better when you are down-and-out than someone who stays by your side willingly every step of the way. It was evident from our first phone conversation that he cares about what he does and will take your situation on as his responsibility. You will be handled expertly. You may even enjoy yourself. If you need a lawyer and you want to make a painful experience as painless as possible, he will see to it. By the way, this was a second offense for me (I got myself into trouble 15 years ago :-/). The first time was a flipping NIGHTMARE as I did not have proper representation. It is so important. You owe it to yourself to have the best. Go with Bret. No regrets.
