Family Law-related disagreements are among the most emotionally charged legal disputes. Without proper representation, your financial future, your family's future, and even your ability to visit and parent your children, can be negatively impacted.
In addition to traditional family law cases, we assist families dealing with:
High conflict matters;
Special needs kids;
Domestic Violence;
Substance Abuse; and
Depart of Child Safety.
We guide our strategy with every unique client by ensuring they are able to start their next chapter. Where children are involved, the goal of a successful outcome in a family law case is a safe and nurturing environment for the child, and this overriding objective lies at the core of our family law practice.
We understand legal costs are a burden, and they almost always arrive at the most difficult times in our lives. We pursued legal careers because of a strong desire to help others and because others helped us along the way. We offer various payment options.
Our focus is on helping our clients through some of the toughest challenges in their lives, so we provide the information you need when you need it, and without you feeling nickel and dimed. We look forward to answering any questions you may have
Colleen Contreras
It’s not common to find someone with a project management background - detail-oriented, meticulous to the core - who then, at the flip of a switch, can bring a compassionate perspective to the table. Wrap this up with a legal background; you’ve got Colleen Contreras.
Before embarking on her legal career, Colleen ran a consulting practice to provide project management services to philanthropic foundations. She later worked closely with children with a range of disabilities, providing an invaluable perspective on the day-to-day struggles of this particular population. A graduate of the University of Phoenix (Bachelor of Science, Business Administration), a Juris Doctor degree from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law, a certified Project Management Professional, and a Certificate in Law, Science, and Technology with a focus in Life Sciences and Biotechnology, Colleen’s career evolved into the law because she believed a change in the system was not only possible but necessary. Families need support during life’s tough transitions from someone who gets it.
Colleen brings a big heart, the precision of a project management professional, and a lawyer's legal acumen to her clients every day.

Colleen promised us so many things in our case that was not provided. After hiring her I felt good about where the case can go. Shortly after being hired the responses and worked slowed down. My husband and I did not like her antics during the case.
