After three unsuccessful attempts of filing for disability benefits on my own, I was referred to Andrew Muirhead's firm by a family member. I met with Andrew and we discussed my case, and after meeting with him, I found him to be honest and very straitforward. Even though from the outside looking in,... my particular case seemed to be very difficult at best, he felt very confident that he could help me and so he agreed to represent me at my disability hearing. It took about two years before I was able to have my hearing. During that time I contacted Andrew several times having been frustrated with the length of the whole process and the financial hardship that it was causing to me and my family, he just kept on reassuring me which put my mind at ease because I knew that he had my back. A claim for Social Security Disability was filed the end of November 2013. In late March 2014 we were notified that the claim had been approved! We were expecting this action to take at least 6 months, and had high probability that these type of claims are not awarded on a first submission, so we w...ere prepared for an appeal. My case was very hard to prove. My chronic pain fell under "other" Basically no one believed me, not even doctors for a long while. Andrew told me up front my case was hard.
