As a former benefits authorizer with the Social Security Administration, I believe that I bring an unique perspective in representing clients. I have gained a perspective working for Social Security that other disability attorneys which has helped from completing the paperwork, speaking with Administration personel to handling a hearing. Further, I have been an attorney since 1999 and as a sole practitioner, I have persoanlly handled all of my cases from meeting with my clients to representing them at a hearing. Lack of direction
My experience has been a little disappointing. The SSDi process is not explained and there is very little communication regarding my case. We are in the appeal stage and I do not have a good feeling. Replied last May 30, 2019I am sorry that you have been so far disappointed with my firm. Although I feel that we do communicate effectively in writing and in person throughout a person's claim, I understand that this has not been your experience. I would welcome the opportunity to sit down and speak with you directly. it is hard from this posting to determine the stage on where your case is. If it is pending at the hearing stage, hearing are taking approximately 18-20 months to be scheduled. This time frame is always explained to client and it understandably very difficult to go through.
