I am an Arizona native, raised in southeastern Arizona where immigration issues have been a hot topic for many years. While working as a paralegal in in various legal areas, including criminal and family law, I took an interest in immigration law. In 2006, while attending law school, I started working in a immigration firm and I quickly realized that I wanted to use my legal skills and knowledge to help individuals navigate our complicated immigration system and be an advocate for those who want to call our great nation “home.”
I have been assisting individuals in the Phoenix area with their immigration applications, petitions, cases, and appeals since 2006.

Disparaging Lawyer with poor skilset to defend anyone with criminal record
I had a controlled substance offense from Canada as a Canadian citizen married to a US citizen With a US citizen child. She is simply inept. Simply put; this woman was unable to defend me in order to obtain my green card nor challange the validity of the statute pertainig thereto... She is a fraud. D...
I can only represent a person with the information they choose to disclose. USCIS doesn't grant cases because they think you are a nice guy or learned your lesson. I do wish you the best of luck, regardless of your choice to malign me instead of take responsibility for your actions. Oddly enough, you reviewed me before and I was fantastic! It is indeed unfortunate that you lied to me, and as I told you after the interview, I would have recommended you save your money because you were not eligible for legal status in the U.S. based on what you eventually disclosed. Best of luck to you, Sean. Prior review: Amazing Attorney! Amazing Person! 5.0 stars Posted by Sean Ramsaran March 24, 2016 I am so glad to have found Ms. Heflin. My first impression of her was amazing, I could definitely tell that she wasn't a 'lightweight' in the field she practices. She's incredibly knowledgeable of the legislation and the procedural aspect as well. She is very personable and provides her clients with the a great deal of insight. I am thrilled to be working with her on my legal matter and I have full confidence that she will fight with me to the very end. She definitely personifies the type of candor one would expect from a competent and experienced trial lawyer. Thanks Alicia and thank you for reading this note!

Amazing Immigration Lawyer!
When I found Ms Alicia, I only had 10 days left to answer the immigration officer with documents my previous lawyer did not have on the day of my interview and because of bad representation. Basically from day one, Ms Alicia prepared all the necessary documents and one month later I went to my Oath C...
