As background my wife and I were involved in a car accident while leaving the Rose Bowl Parade on New Year’s Day, 2014. The other driver immediately accepted full responsibility and never contested fault. I was charged by the state with several felonies. I knew they were bad but did not grasp the full extent until I spoke with John. I got some serious charges brought against me and found out soon after that I was grand jury indicted on those charges. All the other lawyers I talked to briefly, or their assistants, said probation probably wasn't an option. John said otherwise. I was looking at anywhere from 7-15 years in prison. John got me what was called a non agreement plea, and I got probation with ZERO jail time! John Kelly is a wonderful attorney, he was informing and always made sure my Fiance knew what was going on with his case, We retained John when my Fiance was first arrested and in county jail, John made sure to visit him every week just to let him know that he wasn't forgotten and was working hard on his case. John was able to lower my Fiances bail from an extreme amount to a much reasonable amount. He always answered the phone or got back to us as soon as he could, and answered every question to the best of his knowledge. John Kelly is extremely intelligent, compassionate, and understanding. They were even denying my Fiances right to council, and John Kelly did everything he could to get that right back for him, and he was very successful.
