Poor communication, only fights for your cause if it matches her beliefs.

Failed to file timely. Failed to truly be an advocate & was more concerned about maintaining her professional relationships than working my case. Always on vacation, Cancun, Florida, Hawaii, Europe.. never working. Withheld information from opposing party, and failed to present rebuttal evidence i...n our favor. Talked more about turning 40 and hating getting old than listened to important case facts. Laughed about another client wanting 50/50 custody every time I mentioned it. Truly believes women raise kids and men pay for them (Mormon based). If you're not LDS, you're not worthy and get 50% effort at best. Open discussed one of her special master cases in front of me with Ryan Petersen. Absolutely shocked at her bias in the conversation. The case was that of a close friend; she didn't know was my friend.

Dedicated, Caring and Brilliant

Two years ago, I scheduled a consultation with Kristy. I was contemplating divorce, sadly, because my husband was addicted to pornography and drugs. His personality was completely altered because of the addictions. He no longer wanted to be a support to our family financially or emotionally. My c...hildren were confronted by unwanted images when they passed by his computer, and his lack of empathy was heartbreaking. I had tried for 8 years to work things out and see some kind of remorse or change, but when counseling and pleas of change made no difference, I went to talk to Kristy. She had been recommended to me by a realtor I was working with, but I basically knew nothing about her. I wasn't sure whether to pursue divorce or not, but even though there was no promise on my part of hiring her, she attentively listened, took careful notes and told me to come back in two weeks if things looked like I had no other option. I made a second appointment, hoping things would improve during that time. Before the two weeks were up, almost on Valentine's Day, my husband served me with divorce papers. I was devastated and scared and immediately called Kristy not knowing what to do. She was very kind, calmed me and said she would gladly help me. I have not only had the unique opportunity of having an attorney that was highly skilled in her knowledge of the law, but have gained a kind and wise friend who genuinely cared about me and my future. During the past two years, she has worked tirelessly on my case, trying to comfort me and give me hope when I felt there was none. She has listened, not only to my legal concerns, but she has given me invaluable service and advice for my future, the future of my children, and constant help and assistance. No matter when I texted her or emailed her, she responded with kindness and help regarding my situation. I got a little (well, maybe a lot) crazy at times worrying over many of the issues I was facing for the future. It was a complicated case--one that most attorneys would have not taken, much less embraced with the ability and grace that she has shown me over the last two years. She fought for me on every front, calmed me, advised me, and been there for me above and beyond what most friends would have done, much less, an attorney. We were in several mediations, the last one lasted over 15 hours. She reassured me, fed me, walked and talked with me, and had my interests at the forefront of the entire process, never failing to give me her complete and professional attention and care. I not only gained a friend I dearly love, but I had the best legal advice and guidance that I could have ever hoped for. She is the best of the best! My life is better, not only because of the legal help, but because of her advice and friendship, concern for my children, animals, extended family, etc. I will forever be grateful for having had her expertise and experience to guide me. No divorce is ever going to go perfectly since there are other parties involved. No one ever wants to have their family or properties divided, but if there is no other option, Kristy will be there to guide and help and put your life back together. She provided me with hope and help when I thought there was none and was there by my side every step of the way. I could not more highly recommend an attorney if you need help making decisions that are heartbreaking and wanting the best legal, professional, and personal outcome possible than Kristy Hansen. She will always have my most grateful thanks and love for the blessing she has been in my life. She is the best of the best!!

Kristy is our savior!

A few years ago we found ourselves in the midst of a nightmare none of us expected. My daughter's husband of nine years had turned into someone and something we no longer recognized thanks to an addiction to pornography. My daughter was able to separate herself from the toxic situation through divo...rce but the boys were still forced to spend time with a man who was later convicted as a pedophile. After my daughter remarried a wonderful man and the boys felt safe again, they asked if there was a way to stop these visits. We went through more than one lawyer trying to free the boys from this damaging experience. We were so grateful when we finally found Kristy. She was able to legally limit the boys' contact with this evil man until he was sentenced and removed from society. She is now working on permanently removing this cancer from their lives. She is also protecting the children from this man's current wife who somehow feels she has the right to see these boys. This woman has no legal or biological connection to these children. She continues her support of and relationship with this convicted pedophile. And she continues to harass my daughter for access to the children that are not now nor have they ever been hers. Kristy has been there each and every time to provide the legal means to protect these kids. They have been though enough. They have a loving father and healthy family life now and Kristy is right there helping to protect that. She is our savior in a hellish situation. I'm so grateful we found this honest, caring and competent attorney!

Fantastic Protector of Justice

I hired Kristy to help protect my children from my ex husband, and his wife. Yes fighting your ex-spouse and his wife is expensive. But every single penny of debt I own now was worth it, because when it comes to protecting your children from a pedophile there is no monetary limit. Kristy made it pos...sible for me to protect my kids which should be every mothers #1 priority. Kristy fights so hard for her clients. I was always able to reach her or one of her staff (who all knew my case well) through email, or phone call. Kristy sent me texts the night before court dates to tell me to take deep breaths and that she was there with me. As soon as I hired Kristy it felt like I had the entire MHM firm fighting with me. These people truly believe in the justice system, and have moral compasses that can not be turned! Kristy continues to provide ongoing support even after my ex husband was sentenced to prison for 22 years for crimes against children. She is always willing to answer a question or a phone call, and I know she will be honest with me. Kristy wont tell you something is possible if it is not, she will not just give you the answer you are hoping for. She stays professional and has an understanding that the best thing she can do for her clients is to help them understand the legal system, and how it is there to protect/help them. I appreciated this honestly because I always felt confident because I knew our case strong built on fact, not on emotion. My children are safe and happy and beginning to heal from a horrific few years, and I believe that this is possible because of Kristy and the MHM team! THANK YOU!!!

The BEST!!!

I first visited Kristy Hansen on 2011 with a divorce and she was hands down the most helpful and realistic attorney ever. Everything was buttoned up and done within a few months. I had such a pleasant experience then, that I revisited her again regarding custody of minor children and a few other is...sues I was having with my ex. Kristy and her staff are beyond helpful and go above and beyond to help me and communicate everything with me. Everything was done fast and I was never left questioning anything. I would pay any amount to have this woman represent me or my family.
