A WARNING: Ron Wilkinson is the opposite of what he portrays himself to be.

Attorney Ronald D. Wilkinson boasted to us that he is very good at manipulating people. Ron Wilkinson told the judge in our case that we would agree to do a mediation when we NEVER agreed to do any mediation. Our opponent was being found out by law enforcement and had recently been criminally cha...rged. Ron Wilkinson's assistant, upon our insistence, wrote and submitted a motion to the court that our case be closed and the opposing party be held accountable. All Ron Wilkinson had to do at that point was tell the judge our case should be over since our opponent was criminally charged and/or tell the judge to rule on our motion instead of a doing a mediation. Then after Ron Wilkinson told the judge we agreed to do a mediation when we NEVER agreed to this, he then ignored all of our phone calls and attempts to reach him to ask him what in the world was he doing. In what universe do you have your opponent criminally charged and all your attorney has to do at this point is stand up for you and finish the job to close the case out but instead Ron Wilkinson said we wanted to do a mediation, when we did NOT. Then at the mediation, Ron Wilkinson was not prepared despite us writing out for him in detail what he should be prepared to know and go over. Next during the break when we ask Ron Wilkinson about his lack of preparedness, he instead attempts to gaslight /manipulate us by blaming us and claiming we have bad attitudes. So after the break we interrupted Ron Wilkinson and we told the mediator ourselves that we were not going to agree to anything and that we were done here. We instead simply followed-through ourselves on our opponent's criminal charges until they were sentenced. Therefore the mediation, which we never agreed to, was a complete waste of time. A warning to you about Ron Wilkinson is that he is the opposite of what he portrays himself to be. He projects onto others what he does himself. Don't let him manipulate you.

Badass Attorney

I had the opportunity to work with Ron and his staff, and they are some of the most exceptional attorneys I’ve ever met. Ron is honest, compassionate, and truly treats his clients like family. I cannot recommend him and his team highly enough.

Not Trustworthy

Before we hired Ron Wilkinson we read reviews and wondered if the poor reviews were credible since they seemed so different compared to the good reviews. Well, after experiencing Ron Wilkinson firsthand for ourselves, we can confirm the poor reviews about him are credible. RDW is a narcissist. He has... a degree in psychology and he thinks he knows how to manipulate people because he told us more than once he knows how to manipulate others. When we had our consultation, Ron told us quote, “I can probably get this case resolved with one phone call.” And he said that we would get the rest of our “retainer back to spend on Christmas.” We understood it wasn't a guarantee but that it was a good probability he could get the case resolved with one promised phone call since that is what he told us. Once Ron got our money, Ron never made that promised phone call. We emailed him and called the office countless times over the next 6 weeks. We received no replies or callbacks. We finally scheduled a phone call in advance to speak with Ron, which costs almost $400 an hour. We asked Ron if he made that one phone call yet that he promised us. He said the individual he was going to call was hard to get a hold of. We did not believe he was telling us the truth. Another time opposing counsel sent us a very harassing email on a Thursday filled with lies and threatening sanctions (court fines) against us if we didn't reply by Monday. We had to reply to the email ourselves and represent ourselves in order to get the email back to this other unprofessional attorney by Monday. RDW did nothing to help on this occasion during or after. He never followed-up with the opposing attorney. It is almost impossible to communicate with Ron. He does not reply to emails or return phone calls. Then when you do get a rare chance to talk to him, it's very difficult to bring up your concerns to him as he gets easily triggered and he has a short temper. Ron even told us he gets easily triggered. We were scared to say anything to him. Ron often engages in manipulative gas-lighting techniques where he creates a false narrative and tries to place the blame for his irresponsible actions onto us and blame us for his bad actions. As one example he would accuse us of not listening when Ron is the one who was not listening to us. The ultimate betrayal was when Ron falsely told the court we agreed to things which we absolutely did NOT agree to. Ron or his office also engage in falsifying their bills. As one specific example we were charged $720 for witnesses being served subpoenas. However only 4 witnesses were subpoenaed at a cost of $18.50 each which would be a total of $74, not $720. When we point this out to both Ron and his office asking them what is going on with the billing, we again receive no response. We also had to do a lot of babysitting. We had to constantly call and email over and over and over to make sure things are getting done. For example, we called multiple times about correctly scheduling something. We were finally told there were about 5 dates to choose from and we would get a call back to get our permission to schedule the time and place. About a week goes by with no one calling us back. So we have to call into the office again. And we are told that the thing was scheduled without ever talking to us. And this thing was scheduled at a time we could NOT make and at a place we clearly did NOT agree to. So we have to spend more time and more money getting it rescheduled and fixed to the correct place. We then decided to represent ourselves and our opponent was found in Contempt of Court and sentenced to 30 days in jail. Also our opponent was Criminally Charged a 2nd time in addition to being found in Contempt of Court. A sentencing hearing is currently scheduled for the new criminal charge. So instead of continuing to allow narcissist RDW to gaslight & manipulate us, we represented ourselves and got the job done ourselves, with the help of God.

Sloppy

Ron is the sloppiest and most inept attorney. He’s referred to by his colleagues as the clown of the courts . Save you money and hire a professional.

Dishonest and despicable

Ron has zero ethics. He will lie directly to the court. He fills out, court documents incorrectly, and he lies and attacks the other party with unverifiable information and/or information that his actual client is doing.
