Biography
Matthew began his legal career with a boutique estate planning and probate firm in Houston, Texas. There he specialized in wills, trusts, asset protection, probate, and general transactional law assisting clients ranging from those with modest estates to ones with complex estates worth tens of millions of dollars.
After moving to Utah, Matthew focused his practice on assisting, advising, and representing clients in family law matters. Matthew honed his skills in family law as an attorney with a non-profit law firm in Salt Lake City, where he helped hundreds of clients in divorce, custody, guardianship, and termination of parental rights cases. He has argued cases in front of domestic relations commissioners and judges from Logan to Moab and everywhere in between.
When not in the office, Matthew loves spending time outdoors with his wife, two children, and rescue dogs. Matthew is also a musician who plays the guitar, bass guitar, banjo, and mandolin.
