Ms. Ada I. Ferrer is an experienced attorney with proven courtroom litigation and real estate law skills. She has had a long and successful career helping individuals, companies, and non-profits with a wide variety of legal matters.
Ms. Ferrer has helped guide countless clients through corporate and business litigation, business disputes, debt collection, and other bill collection matters. She also brings her years of experience to clients who need help navigating through the complex commercial litigation process, as well as oil and gas matters, contractual disputes, intellectual property disagreements, healthcare issues, legal malpractice, securities fraud, mergers and acquisitions.
Ms. Ferrer joined Robert Burford at the Burford Law Firm, PC as an Associate Attorney in 2014 where she honed her skills as a dedicated and tenacious litigation attorney for both plaintiffs and defendants. No matter the case, no matter the courts, she provides her clients with fair and honest representation, and she will work tirelessly to serve the business community in all capacities.
In 2015, Ms. Ferrer then joined Robert Burford and Brent Perry at Burford Perry LLP as an Associate attorney where she focused on sharpening her commercial litigation skills and distinguished herself as an aggressive litigator.
Ms. Ferrer began her professional legal career as a paralegal at Holt & Young, PC and then Barsalou & Sebesta PC, where she concentrated on real estate law and property owner associations. She also formed Ferrer & Tu, PLLC, where she practiced real estate law and debt collection, and served as general corporate counsel to over 70 non-profit homeowners associations in the Houston and San Antonio metropolitan areas, collecting millions on behalf of HOAS.
Ms. Ferrer is now a shareholder at the Ferrer Law Firm, PC representing a wide range of clientele in many types of business, civil, commercial disputes, contract disputes, collections, disputes between partners, and a wide spectrum of other issues.
Ms. Ferrer holds a Certificate in Advanced Arbitration Skills from the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center, as well as a Certificate in Mediation from the Blakely Advocacy Institute. She is licensed to practice in all courts in the State of Texas and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. While she mainly practices law in Houston, Texas, Ms. Ferrer has served clients in other locations as well.
