I was 1600 miles from Denver in S. Carolina when I was served with a temporary restraining order from my ex-wife.. It was on the evening of Friday the 13th.. I began researching attorneys in the Denver area who were skilled in such defense, and on Saturday morning, I desperately tried to contact a ...few that seemed to be good candidates. Above all else I knew I was innocent, but moreover, I knew that I could not afford to lose - my job requires a very clean background.. Barry asked the judge for a recess, and during this time, met privately with my accuser, explaining the costs involved and the airtight case he had. He then gave her an 'out' - drop all charges and have the case dismissed, or be prepared to lose & be held responsible for all bills associated with these false accusations. Of course, I then am left with paying for proving my innocence - but there is no doubt that had I not gotten council, and good council - namely Barry Lancaster, this may have cost me so much more - even my very livelihood! Bottom line: very professional and thorough; very insightful and personable.

My husband called the police and had me sent to jail after defending myself against him. I was terrified - I'd never had any experience with the police before in my life - let alone jail.
