I was hit with a slew of nightmare charges after crashing my car, including DUI. I was disoriented from the crash and the wicked concussion I sustained during it, but I wasn't intoxicated, so I opted to take a blood test after a police officer finally came. The officer was incompetent, and to ...my surprise, came up with charge after charge, but none of them were true and I was in shock, literally, and disbelief. Because of the charges, I was put in jail instead of in a hospital and left to suffer overnight with no one in my family knowing where I was and without medical attention for my injuries except for ointment for the gash on my stomach the next morning. I plead guilty to reckless driving, which was the best option that I could have hoped for given the situation, and since Barry explained to the judge that I had suffered and made life changes to avoid anything like this happening again, the judge gave me the minimum fine and consequence. Barry made my life easier, saved my future, has become a good friend, gave me a fair price, and was extremely professional, capable, and thorough with my case. I would not recommend another lawyer to handle anyone's case in Boulder or on the Front Range.

I was pulled over for speeding and very questionably brought in for a breathalizer after roadside tests, resulting in a charge of DWAI. I did NOT want a criminal charge on my record and believed that there were many issues with how I was arrested and charged. However, my options were extremely limit...ed.
