Brenda "will be the heavy" when needed.

I'm quoting her. Brenda is very honest and direct, which was very helpful. My case involved a number of unexpected unknowns concerning secrets kept by my ex-wife that, for me, were very challenging to navigate. While the major issues, particularly parenting time, were settled outside of court, and ne...ither of us excepted that the case would proceed to court, when that surprise came Brenda was prepared to the nth degree. During a tediously long and frustrating day of court, Brenda never lost steam and probably fought harder for me than I would have for myself. Her representation was top-notch. The fact that we'd settled the important matters beforehand is testament to her professionalism and guidance on how to deal with the legal nuances for a conflict in which I often felt upside-down.

Wonderful Attorney!

I found it so difficult finding an attorney for several matters that involved custody time with my daughter as there are few reviews to go by. Brenda was so helpful in assisting me from day one and even after two years, she still has our best interests at heart in regards to saving money and doing wh...at's best for all parties. I am so happy to have her represent me. I knew I would get results due to her professionalism and knowledge of the court system. She recommended I used Danielle for a contempt issue to save me money as she knew how important finances are for my daughters future. This just shows she is a genuinely caring person that is not out to just abuse peoples traumatic life changing events as I've witnessed in the past. We laughed often through the bad situation I had found myself in and is truly somebody I refer to as a friend for all she's done for my little girl and I. I'm a single dad and was so pleased with the outcome. If you are looking for a quality lawyer, please take her offer of a consultation. I felt it only write a review as I myself, had such a hard time looking for the right Attorney. Brenda referred two other attorneys to me for in regards to property matters that also excelled in their fields. I'm forever grateful to her and know I'll be well represented when future issues arrive should I need her.

Excellent representation

My case involved post decree parenting time and decision making. My previous attorney became a Judge, and I used AVVO to find Brenda. We had a complicated case that involved a PRE, PRE update, 2-1/2 day hearing, and emergency orders after the ruling. Throughout the process Brenda and her staff wer...e always professional, accessible, and friendly. While I hope that you can find alternatives to using the courts you will not find better representation. Brenda’s understanding of mental health, legal experience, and desire to do the right thing were all critical to the success we experienced in my case.

Excellent Lawyer

Brenda handled my case with the utmost importance, her and her staff were extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. I am very happy with the outcome of my case.

Top-notch representation

Ms. Storey initially represented me several years ago during my divorce, and more recently during post-decree modifications in parenting time and other parenting agreement matters. In between those two periods, I worked with another attorney on a stand-alone child support matter, and yet one other wh...o represented me in the early stages of the post-decree modifications before I turned representation over to Ms. Storey. My experiences with other attorneys have given me the advantage of perspective on Ms. Storey's unique strengths, which are based in her integrity, sharp advocacy, knowledge, professionalism, straightforward communication, strategic foresight, and perhaps most importantly, her care and regard for the children ultimately impacted by these matters. I have a true appreciation for Ms. Storey's ability to stay multiple steps ahead of the process as it pertains to court proceedings and opposing counsel. She's a terrific attorney, and a key resource throughout every part of the process.

"I endorse this lawyer. Brenda is an excellent advocate and a lawyer's lawyer. She fights to win, and her responses show a great depth of both knowledge and insight into the law. Her responses on sites such as AVVO additionally put her out in the community, helping members of the public, contributing to the greater "legal good". You should hire her if you're in Colorado. She knows how to win."
