Wink & wink did such a great job completing our Chapter 13. We had a good amount of debt, a new baby and a drop in income. Someone recommended their company to me, so we gave them a call, hands down- best move we ever made. They did great with making things easy and clear. They were available wheneve...r we needed, and they were patient with us and answered all of our questions. While doing the bankruptcy, they informed us of a tax issue and even offered to assist with it. We will definitely be coming back to them to help us with our taxes! Both Mike, Gigi and their office staff treated us with great respect, patience and kindness. There was no judgement and they helped us make the best choices. On top it all, they were professional and experts in this field!

So our situation was probably like many out there. Certain circumstances got us into a bad financial situation where we owed a boatload of money to multiple creditors (mainly credit card companies). However we also owed some large medical bills as well. It came to the point where we could not affo...rd to make our large car payment, our mortgage payment, childcare payment, living expenses, along with the ridiculously minimum payments to all of our creditors anymore. We had been making those crazy minimum payments and getting no where on paying down the debt! It was like shoveling snow into a shopping cart. We had to make a decision to let the cards or the house go past due until we figured something out. We were about 5 months in to letting many of the cards go into default before we met with Mike. I heard his ad on a local sports talk radio show. At the time I did not think we could do a bankruptcy and keep our property (cars and house). That was key we wanted to keep both but primarily we wanted to keep our house. I looked into getting another full time job to pay off the CC debt. In the end that did not work. Since we thought we'd have to liquidate house in a bankruptcy we were hesitant to go down that path. However once we realized selling the house was a real option we'd have to explore we decided to have a meeting with Mike just in case we had a shot at keeping it instead of selling it. So we set up a meeting with Mike and he was very up front and honest with us. He gave us all of our options including a non-bankruptcy option to settle with the credit card companies. But he did mention we could keep the house and cars in a Chapter 13. In the end we decided to go with a Chapter 13 plan. Everything took a while and we had to provide a lot of information. But we were very happy with the results so far! We got one of our cars crammed down, we actually got a newer car before we filed. I got a bonus this year and was able to keep it! I will have to turn those over for future years bonuses! All in all a very good experience, we are able to repay what we can through the plan and are happy for a fresh do over. It will take some diligence to stay on budget for our Chapter 13 plan but I know we can do it! Mike was great and either him, his wife Gigi, or staff was always there to answer all the questions I had no matter how trivial or how many of them I had.

I highly recommend this firm. I dealt primarily with Mike Wink and Paralegal Ann Baldwin. I first retained him to assist in a Chapter 13 filing. Instead of filing, Mike was able to settle around $124,000.00 in debt. Ultimately I settled for much less than 50%. The attorney fees were ultimately less t...han 4K. It was well worth it. I felt the fees were very reasonable even though I had a couple stubborn creditors. This firm is ethical and will not overcharge. I highly recommend it.

In what was one of the more stressful times of my life, i was fortunate to find Mike, Gigi and their team. Their consultation, professionalism, collaborative approach in working through my situation was not only refreshing, it relieved a large amount of stress and anxiety in my financial situation. ... In retrospect, trying to navigate my financial situation without their assistance would not have had anywhere close to the outcome I have now. Mike saved us our home, we now have a savings plan (we are contributing 5%-10% of our income monthly towards each of our 401K retirement -- that was impossible before meeting with Mike Wink), our direct monthly out of pocket costs have dropped significantly, we were able to get the second mortgage re...moved (so we will likely a ton of have equity in 5 years - hopefully if the market continues on it's current path).
