Joe excelled in a couple of areas that truly cemented my lasting positive impression of him. First, despite the difficulty of the case, the lack of response of opposing council and increasing beleaguerment on my part, Joe maintained a calm business demeanor and helped me stay grounded. He kept my exp...ectations realistic, but urged my attentiveness and (in some cases) more aggressive stance on issues he felt important. While doing all of this, he managed to align the proceedings as closely as possible to what I told him (in my consultation) was my desired outcome. Secondly, when it was time to do so, Joe planted his feet and dug in. My proceedings involved deposing the opposing party – a situation I’d never been in before. I watched Joe methodically and strategically move through topics that, prior to my seeing him in action, I didn’t fully understand. I watched the strategy and narrative unfold in front of me and morph based on the responses he garnered. It truly left me being extremely appreciative that I retained him. In short, I’m deeply grateful for Joe. He made the best out of a terrible situation – and left me feeling as whole as he could at the end. He never overbilled me (and in some cases forewent billing me to save my pocketbook) and responded to me well into the evenings and occasionally on weekends (even though he was dealing with this COVID-crisis with his own family’s schedule).
