i was referred to Griffiths Law by a friend whom had a difficult, and complex, divorce. during an initial meeting with Suzanne Griffiths we determined the merits and details of my dissolution weren’t global/multinational nor requiring forensic accounting and contested positions. We transitioned m...y case to Eliza Steinberg and who stepped in and handled the complexities of my case, which was its delicate nature, with compassion, deftness, and care. this sensitivity was the crux of case, as my partner had no representation and was relying on me for transparency and fairness. i indicated up front with Eliza that we’re not going to screw my partner - we need to be fair, timely, and sympathetic in the diposition of proceedings and outcome. Eliza provided procedural guidance and foreshadowing as well as breathing room at the correct moments. She arranged or confirmed that the mediator in the proceedings would be suitable to myself and my partner and managed conflicting schedules to suit us all. my process and emotional turbulence included recognizing the loss of my best friend, family traditions, financial security, and a vision for the future that was richly textured and nuanced - unanticiptated deeply affecting moments - and they were mitigated adroitly by Eliza’s objective counsel and guidance. it was a profoundly difficult year my life and continue to be grateful i had counsel throughout from Eliza Steinberg.

The first divorce attorney I hired prior to Eliza was just not fitting the bill -- wasn't responsive, seemed to drop the ball more often than not, and just didn't seem to be able to handle the type of complicated case I had, so I started to search for another attorney. A friend of mine referred me to... Griffiths Law and referred me to another attorney in the firm at first but in the end Eliza took over my case and I am eternally grateful! From day one, I was extremely impressed by her decisiveness, experience, knowledge, attention to detail, dedication, responsiveness as well as her kindness and being so personable. I was going through a very tough time not only with my divorce but with my health and family issues, Eliza was extremely patient and kind the entire process (it was quite lengthy since things were on hold for 6-7 months while I had chemo, surgery, etc.). Eliza represented me in mediation. She knew the lawyers, mediators and judges involved and how to negotiate with each to reach an agreement and she effectively used the law to argue our positions. For example, the other attorney tried to argue that I owed back child support but they interpreted the... statute incorrectly, which she settled and stopped pretty fast with the mediator. My ex was pretty unreasonable, hostile and difficult to work with and that is they type of attorney he hired; Eliza diffused their tactics easily and helped us negotiate and settle on a deal that was great for me. She also has a great team supporting her; since they were pretty capable, we could offset some of the expense, which was nice. I had full confidence in her team and Eliza. I would definitely recommend her and should I need help in the future, I will definitely use her again.

Eliza helped me with a case regarding the parenting time allocation. She listened to everything, was compassionate, and very knowledgeable. She keeps the kid's best benefit in mind, and while I may had some unreasonable request, she have you coming back on the right track. She knows what the battle ...are worth and not. I knew quickly I made the right choice. She has been helping me through my case amazingly. Now that the case is closed, I wish I wasn't in need of her help.
