When I went in for first consultation he listened to everything I had to say and was able to help me laser focus in on what I needed to do to accomplish my immediate goals in separating from my then wife. I hired him shortly after I realized that I was heading towards divorce. He was very respons...ive and helped me get the ball rolling quickly thereafter. While representing me he was an effective advocate for me during the pre mediation phase. When disputes arose he took what I provided and told him and was about to squash the monetary dispute before it could go to mediation. For which I am very grateful. During the settlement he helped me properly convey how the house property was to be settled through the VA and to draw up the appropriate timelines that allowed me to, in the end, assume my home. Second he was able to help me reacquire my mistakenly or otherwise taken property. In the end I was able to divorce and still retain the roof over my head because of Joe.

Joe excelled in a couple of areas that truly cemented my lasting positive impression of him. First, despite the difficulty of the case, the lack of response of opposing council and increasing beleaguerment on my part, Joe maintained a calm business demeanor and helped me stay grounded. He kept my exp...ectations realistic, but urged my attentiveness and (in some cases) more aggressive stance on issues he felt important. While doing all of this, he managed to align the proceedings as closely as possible to what I told him (in my consultation) was my desired outcome. Secondly, when it was time to do so, Joe planted his feet and dug in. My proceedings involved deposing the opposing party – a situation I’d never been in before. I watched Joe methodically and strategically move through topics that, prior to my seeing him in action, I didn’t fully understand. I watched the strategy and narrative unfold in front of me and morph based on the responses he garnered. It truly left me being extremely appreciative that I retained him. In short, I’m deeply grateful for Joe. He made the best out of a terrible situation – and left me feeling as whole as he could at the end.
