My ordeal lasted a little over a year, instead of a few months mostly because I truly loved my wife and could not bear breaking up our family. Throughout the process I found out just how important hiring a family firm truly was, Joe, my representative, never lost sight of what was in my best interest, his partner who just happens to be his mother checked in occasionally and gave me guidance and advice only a mother could give and his associate a female, gave me a women’s perspective that proved invaluable. On the day we stood in front of the Judge and he asked “what are we going to do with the gifts of the marriage?” I left the courthouse with custody of my two wonderful children and that is something most fathers only dream of! Joe Newberry handled my divorce and really made the entire process easy and painless. There were issues with my wife being non-responsive, but Joe kept things on track and made everything happen smooth and easy. He was professional, knowledgeable, ad honest with me through out the process.
