I hired Joe Newberry in mid December of last year. I was in need of an attorney to assist with a custody case and I didn’t know where to start. After going online and requesting a call from a handful of attorneys, Joe called me right away himself. It took all of 5 minutes for me to know I had found m...y guy. I was in search of an attorney but with many stipulations. I wanted someone that was also a parent and understood the parent-child relationship. I wanted an attorney that would be assertive, direct, hard working, efficient and affordable. I also wanted the person I hired to take my case with the best interest of my son in mind, not my best interest or their pocket books best interest. I needed someone that would provide me all of the details along the way, ask for my thoughts and opinions on matters, present the facts, and let me weigh my options. Finally, I wanted someone that was going to be respectful but stern to help me finally get the time I am deserving of in regards to my son. Joe Newberry was all of these and some. Joe and his staff made a very difficult circumstance become a painless process as they were constantly in touch via email or phone call to update me about the case, ask my thoughts on something, gather details in preparation of going to court, etc. Joe and his team well extremely organized, knowledgeable, effecient, prepared and always two steps ahead of my ex-wife’s attorney when it came to documentation and proving things. Joe settled my case out of court by mid March, which was faster than I ever anticipated. He worked diligently with my ex-wife's attorney to agree on every single thing we wanted, and he did it quickly and respectfully. I wouldn’t choose anyone else to handle a family law case other than Joe Newberry. I couldn’t have been more impressed with his work and the happier with the results than I am now. Thanks to Joe Newberry and his staff, I am enjoying more time with my son and I finally get to be the father I have always wanted to be.

I filed for divorce in April 2015 and I had the worst lawyer possible. I've never had a divorce so I didn't really know what to expect and it wasn't until I was into deep I realized that she was not fighting for me or helping me to actually move forward. Leslie Matthews, my paralegal, and yes I called her mine. She was a rockstar. On top of everything, quick to answer any and every question, , super intelligent, and so very caring. Together, Mr. Newberry and Leslie make a fantastic team! I am just so very blessed to have them represent me. I just wish that I had found them sooner. Even Benjamin Ashton, who greets clients is so very cordial and helpful. He helped me carry all of my boxes from my old lawyer. I would recommend the Newberry Law firm 10 times over to any and everyone. Please don't make the mistake that I did and hire a mediocre lawyer. Hire the very best and that is the Newberry Law Firm.

I met with Joe and his staff about 3 months before I actually filed. He drew up papers at that time so that when it came time for me to file, he had everything in order. He and his staff were punctual, thorough, and very fairly priced. He was very honest with me about what would happen, addressed ...any issues that MAY come up, and fought for my rights. Although it was not always what I wanted to hear, he still insisted on telling me the truth instead of just telling me what I wanted to hear. I would recommend Joe and his staff over and over. I have, in fact, sent several of my best friends to him and they are all very satisfied with his work.
