I really enjoyed working with Ilana, I was new to this entire process and she really made things as simple as possible. Cut and dry and what my clear options were. I emailed her several times a day because of questions I had about everything or things that confused me. I would get a response back the... same day or the next. Even after my case was taken care of, I had a question and she still got back to me quickly to clear some things up for me.

Ilana's title is " Lets get through this together" and as a long standing client of hers, I must emphasize the fact that she lives up to that statement. I have been in a 2 year long custody dispute that has had some really strange things happen and Ilana has been present for almost a year of that... case. Ilana was not only professional but extremely dedicated to me, my case and my family. In fact, Ilana gave my daughter a little red stuffed bird to help my daughter get through all this. As a lawyer, Ilana is very clear and honest, even when I didn't want to hear what she had to say, so be ready (and grateful) for that. Since she is representing you, she will tell you exactly what you are doing wrong and why. She will also help enforce what you are doing right and she teach you how to handle the case even after it is over. If your case hits a road block she can't see a way through, she will spend hours trying to find a person, company or even a personal friend who can see how to navigate in the situation. I have had 2 other lawyers on this case before I met her, and both them were adequate, but Ilana went above and beyond. I am partially biased since I spent almost an entire year working on things with her, but I can say from a client's stand point that she is the type of lawyer you want. You want someone who shows you your mistakes... so that you don't keep making them in the long run. You want someone who shows you how to work with the results of your case after you have left the court room. You want someone who sees you as a person, family and individual so they can represent you properly. You want someone who explains things to you, no matter how many times you need it repeated, so that you don't feel intimidated with the legal system. You also want someone who is going to cut right to the heart of the matter and get it done . This is important both financially and emotionally... no matter what your situation is. The legal system is emotionally taxing and the sooner it is solved the better off you will be. It's also important for your finances. Legal issues are expensive, that fact is unavoidable. Ilana will not beat around the bush with your issues causing you to lose your deposit in mistakes or unnecessary legal steps that never solve the problem at hand. She keeps you informed, asks your ideas on things and is completely transparent... she explains why you need to take the steps you do in order to finish your case. I have never encountered a lawyer who was like that. I am still completely satisfied by the service I got from her. I wish her all the best .
