Justin and his paralegal Melody were amazing. I consulted multiple attorneys regarding my case and Justin was the only one who made me feel confident and assured. You need someone who will leave you feeling confident and even relieved, every time you hang up the phone or walk into court. I was trembling and close to vomiting for every hearing, appearance, etc., but as soon as Justin arrived and laid out his game plan, seeing him at work and watching him fight for you, I always walked out with my head held high. I have a tendency to be too nice, but Justin spoke up for me every time and made sure I never wavered from my position or accepted less than I was entitled. I was really nervous when I started my search for a family law attorney because I knew that the most important things in my life were at risk: my children, my home, my assets and my ability to provide for my kids in the future. I knew I had found the right attor...ney the moment I walked into Justin's office. My divorce was nasty! My ex wife was determined to try and take my young children away from me and tried to fabricate all types of narratives to get her way. She tried to use family protective orders, stalking allegations, cps investigations, accusations of adultry, drugs and abuse with multiple police reports and every other tactic you could think of as leverage in our custody battle - but I'm happy to say I ended up with 50/50 custody of my children and an equal split of community property. As far as logistics go - Justin and his staff worked with a sense of purpose and I never felt that they were "milking the clock." My divorce was a nightmare. False assault charges, 2 rounds of depositions, 2 rounds of temporary order hearings. lots of subpoenas, restraining orders and injunctions against my ex wife, private investigators, etc. You name it my divorce had it. At the start I was looking at only getting standard vi...sitation with my 8 year old daughter. 7 months later, In my final divorce decree I was awarded primary parent and my ex-wife has expanded standard visitation. I originally hired an Austin attorney, before I knew Justin and his firm, I was in the middle of a very nasty custody battle which included false allegations by my ex to removing my daughter from TX. Long story short, my original attorney dropped the ball, she didn't even show up to day 1 of a 2 day... trial. Needless to say I lost everything. I fired her and met with 2 other attorneys who both referred me to Justin. I ended up meeting with him a couple days later and he saw through the BS that my ex laid out, he listened and knew I had a case. He wasn't scared or intimidated by the judge or opposing attorney.
