Charter school law. Easy to communicate to and his response to your request is exceptional. I highly recommend Joe to anyone.

Joe has worked with our school on various legal issues such as: employment policies, board policies, worker's compensation cases, Texas Education Agency charter amendments, and unemployment matters.
He attends our school board meetings and reviews contracts.
He operates with the highest integrity. His knowledge of school legal issues is very broad and he has insight that helped our school save significant amounts of money.
Never overbearing, he presents the facts to the school board or administrators and is mindful that we make the final decision. Joe is very easy to work with and makes great effort to keep us informed of pending legal matters. It is not unusual for us to get an email from his office that gives us insight to upcoming legal issues at the state level.

Mr. Hoffer assisted us in several matters of litigation and governance. He was extremely efficient and put out consistently good work product. He was also very easy to work with professionally and personally and very endearing to staff.
James Hollis, Administrative law Attorney
Relationship: Worked together on matter
Joe is knowledgeable about the general range of school law matters. But primarily for cases involving school governance and school commercial transactions, there is no one else in our community I would trust to refer a client. Joe is a person of character and a fine lawyer.
