Biography
I have two goals when I accept a case. Obtain a positive result, and keep expenses down. I'd rather have an easy, friendly and inexpensive case, than a long-nasty, stressful, battle. but sometimes you just have to stand your ground and not be taken advantage of.
Rockport - El Paso I don't pay AVVO to have the "PRO" designation with my contact info; in fact I do no advertising at all. I'm casual and do not take many cases; however the ones I do take get my full attention. You won't find me in a suit (unless just out of court) and I don't expect you to wear one either. I read, write, and speak Spanish (but a bit rusty). You can call me on weekends or early evenings and if here I will answer, and can meet. I will do interesting cases anywhere in Texas. I've made appearances in 80+ counties. I have been an elected director of the State Bar, a law professor and I've always been a fighter. I served on the Professional Rules Committee and the State Commission on Judicial Conduct have been a judge and elected District Attorney.
I can screen case on the phone -free . I will tell you nicely if I don't think you have a good case; You may not want to hear that, but it's better than spending your money and losing. I may not take your case for other reasons, but if not, I will find you an attorney who I think would be better for you. Good advice on real estate question regarding title.
Gave ideas on what to do with the court and how to present my case. I have an out of state settlement which needs to be presented in Texas due to names on title for a property I was awarded.
