Attorney Hatchett and her team have been such a rock through the storm that I have been going through with settling my late husband’s affairs. I needed an attorney to help me become my father's guardian. I did not even know where to start looking. An attorney friend who lives out of state researched the Hatchett Law Firm and recommended them based on his research. I am the luckiest person since Hatchett Law and I started doing business to...gether. I have no legal background. Initially, they told me exactly how the process worked and what steps were needed. They were 100% correct on everything they told me. There were no surprises or anything that caught me off guard. One day, the assisted living facility where my father lived had to rush him to the hospital by EMS. I left work and went to the hospital. Since we were in the middle of guardianship, I was unsure if they needed to know that my father was in the hospital, so I sent them a message advising them about my father. Mrs. Hatchett and another associate from the firm called me within five minutes. They asked about him and if the doctors had given me any information. Mrs. Hatchett could hear the fear in my voice as we talked. Towards the end of the phone call, Mrs. Hatchett asked if they could pray with me. I was so thankful they offered to do that for my father and me. As I sat in the waiting room, tears rolled down my face as they prayed for my father's health and for me to have strength. Months later, my father passed away. The Hatchett Law Firm took over the process of probating my father's will. They knew I was not in the best emotional spot. We hired Cynthia to gain guardianship of my 84 yr old mother, who had been diagnosed with dementia and exhibited increasingly troubling symptoms. Turned out Mom was being exploited by her boyfriend and another woman, who were working to gain control over her finances and did not want her taken from... their control and placed into memory care. Cynthia's advice on a legal level was excellent, but more importantly she provided invaluable guidance to help us through the emotional turmoil that goes along with dementia and exploitation.
