Life Saver

Lisa had represented 4 previous family members and won each case, my dad told me about her and after having 6 consultations, I was glad I chose Lisa. Situations involving, divorce, potential custody battles are very scary but Lisa made the process so much easier. She talked with me as if I were her f...amily member, I was able to contact her anytime I needed. She saved me over 33k with retroactive payments and I’m very grateful. I usually don’t post reviews but I’d love to help someone feel the relief and comfort I did in such difficult times.

Thorough and responsive

I used Lisa in 2007 for my uncontested divorce. She answered all of my questions and was very reassuring and helpful in advocating for my best interests during a time when I was very emotional. I felt confident that I was being well-represented. I have since referred several friends to her for con...tested divorces and they have been similarly pleased with the results.

Hire my Divorce Lawyer!

Lisa Vanauken handled my divorce for me in 2007. It was a harrowing experience, which she made much better with her knowledge of the law and the vagaries of the Houston Family Courts system. Although I was treated very poorly in my opinion by the system itself, I'm quite certain that it would have b...een much worse if it weren't so obvious that I had the better lawyer! She got me all that she could and more than I expected in my bid for joint custody and a say in where my babies would live and what kind of medical care they would receive. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a Family Law issue handled by an advocate who overachieves and doesn't bleed you dry. One warning; don't send her every love note your cheating spouse sends as they trickle out. Those e-mails add up!
