Flawless

I didn’t realize how smoothly everything had gone in my custody case until I had another custody case in a different state with a different lawyer. Lisa took my first case almost 5 years ago and the communication with her was quick. She made zero mistakes. Everything was done in like 2 weeks. I didn’...t leave a review then cause it was an agreed case, I expected everything to go smoothly. I expected everything to be done quickly. Fast forward 5 years and I have my second agreed upon custody case, where me and the mother agreed on everything. But my lawyer this time had everything wrong. Names. Birthdays. Everything. We corrected tons of the info. I actually corrected him through text on all of it and he still managed to spell the moms husbands name wrong, which resulted in delays getting me on the birth certificate. While making that correction he accidentally took out the paragraph where it said my daughter would take my name. My daughter is now old enough to know her name and speak and we’re still battling the lawyer to correct it. I’m filing a bar complaint currently. So although I didn’t have to go to battle with Lisa as my lawyer, she did handle my case so flawlessly and I never had to worry about correcting her work. And probably set the expectations too high for my next lawyer.

From the beginning Mrs. Vanauken was very understanding of my case and was always very honest as to what the best and worse outcome would be. She fought hard for me and eventually got me everything I could have asked for in my situation. She was very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her ...to anyone that needs a family law attorney.

Highly recommended and very trustworthy, and knowledgable!

I had a very complex and difficult case. Lisa not only provided me with the right advice on how to win my case she was there to support me the whole way. I can't be thankful enough for the excellent work Lisa did for me. I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone and she is a kind and sincere person who... will listen to you and provide you will expert advise. Thanks again Lisa for all of your hard work you did for me.
