Excellent and Afforable
I hired Mr. Busby as my divorce lawyer in 2011. My divorce included a custody battle of two preschool girls. In all occasions he provided accurate information in a professional manner. At no time during the divorce was I lead on that the outcome would favor me. This can be a hard realization, but at ...

Still much to be desired.
He provided a below par service. Never in touch with me, no communication at all. When finally all was over he was not even able to provide me with real final court papers, but "Unofficial" court documents. (At $3.00 per page I see its a big expenditure, Wow!). I expected at least that (And would hav...
The county charges $1 per page for certified documents and I pass that charge along to my clients. I have never charged $3 per page for certified documents, and I provide unofficial documents free of charge. I review all invoices that are sent out of my law firm. If there was a mistake, this person never brought this to my attention to correct it. I give all my clients my cell phone number, and I encourage all clients to call me when my staff are not responsive and/or they want me to address communication issues, problems with their spouse, family, court orders, anything at all. The internet allows us to post reviews both positive and negative about services which can last for years. You will find that when dealing with lawyers and their support staff, human error is commonplace. Many lawyers delegate administrative duties to paralegals and spend time with their clients on evidence and applying the law to their facts. I find that it is best to bring the quality control issues to the attention of the person who is in charge, before you go public with your complaint. Give them a change to correct it, this is better for the client and the lawyer. Here the resolution was to post it publicly, after it looks like the service was concluded without ever bringing it to my attention, and the post was made anonymously.

UNPROFESSIONAL
His office filed my case under the wrong name. I called the district clerk's office to verify if my case was filed and the clerk's office couldn't find it, because it was filed under the wrong name. When I questioned Bugsby about it, and told him I would seek another legal counsel because I wasn't...
Relationships that are being dissolved many times cause emotion and stress to rise. I always give my clients a list of marriage counselors an advise them that I am not a marriage counselor, and that they should be certain this is what they want to do. When someone hires me, and I file their case, then they change their mind, the clerk of the court is not going to refund the filing fee. My staff that help me prepare the case, are not going to expect not to get paid after they prepare the paperwork, office depot is not going to refund the paper and file that were used to make a file for the client. Hasty decisions are sometimes made, which cause the client then to reconsider the prosecution of the divorce. This is what happened here. Someone wanted to file, then wanted to hold, then wanted to prosecute all in about 5 weeks, and then finally had the case dismissed without getting a divorce. When she snapped her finger the first 3 times, I jumped, when she accused me of having never filed her case, after sending her all of the paperwork, I understood then, that this person had capacity issues. God could not please this woman, but the devil will torment her. My name is Busby not Bugsby.
