Exceptional Attorney and Experience

Mr. Bennett was very knowledgeable and comprehensive when it came to dealing with my score validity issue in front of the USMLE committee. With his keen mind for detail, he produced quality results through thoughtful organization with his team and utilized his wealth of knowledge from past experienc...e. He thoroughly assisted me in preparing me for the USMLE hearing. Not only did he consistently maintain professionalism, but he was very personable and went above and beyond to help me with my score validation matter. I give Bob Bennett my highest recommendation. It was a pleasure working with him and his staff. I would recommend Mr. Bennett to anyone who is dealing with this same situation or any other legal matter.

Experienced and Excellent Legal Advise

Mr. Bennett came highly recommended to me by my peers for my score validity issue before the USMLE committee. He took on my case and worked hard to achieve the best possible results. He is extremely hard working, professional, and yet compassionate. I was pleasantly surprised that I found an attorney... with 35+ years of legal experience that understood this very unique case of mine and my position in this matter. I highly recommend him to anyone who maybe in similar situation. He has been an invaluable asset in dealing with my case. I would trust him with any legal issue I had to deal with in the future.

Wonderful Experience, Very Helpful

Mr. Bennett was very helpful and encouraging through this tough battle in front of the NBME committee. When being questioned about your career and one dream you worked so hard for, you need someone who has the experience. Mr. Bennett and his team is very helpful and devoted. I had a wonderful experie...nce working with him and his team.

Best choice for me

Recently, I was summoned by the NBME to appear before a committee to validate my USMLE Step scores. I knew that this wasn't a case I could fight alone. Through recommendations from other students, I found Mr. Bennett to be a great choice. Since he already had experience with these types of cases in t...he past, I knew he would be the best choice for me. He was able to guide me and direct me in the right direction. Not only was he able to help, but so was his associate, she read my testimony numerous times to help me build a stronger case. He is encouraging and knows exactly what is needed to win the case. I am satisfied with my results and hope that through my review he can be of assistance to others.

Excellent Experience with Bob Bennett Firm

Having my hard-earned USMLE board score questioned was something I knew I had to fight. I felt my character and integrity were being questioned. I knew I needed an attorney to aid me. I am glad I found Mr. Bennett. With Mr. Bennett and his staff I was able to prepare a strong case. Additionally,... he was encouraging and supportive. We worked together in focusing and fine tuning my case in order to make the best presentation possible in front of the USMLE committee. We also had a statistician look at my percentages. His firm is very professional and prompt. My over all experience with Mr. Bennett was excellent.

The Secretariat of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and the National Board of Medical Examiners filed a suit against Optima University for copyright infringement. The injunctive action states that Optima by it's agents and owners engaged in unauthorized copying, reconstruction, and distribution of copyrighted USMLE test questions and answers. Students who took Medical Step One and Step Two examinations are having their test scores reviewed and in some instances questioned. The USMLE Committee on Score Validity has sent out over 500 letters to students who attended Optima Courses in New Jersey and Tennessee and asking Optima Medical Students ( students who attended Optima courses) to "submit information relevant to the Committee's assessment of the validity of your scores". USMLE has offered to allow the Optima medical students provide documentation to support the validity of their test scores and the opportunity to appear personally in front of the USMLE Committee on Score Validity. Many students are not exercising their right to make a personally appearance and are giving up their right to have a transcript made of their hearing. This may prove tragic if the result of the hearing is to declare the test score indeterminate. With this finding the only way to have the test score reinstated is to take the test again and pass it or to appeal the decision to the United States Medical Licensing Examination Secretariat/National Board of Medical Examiners Composite Committee, The Composite Committee meets at the end of January 2010 and will be making decisions on appeals that are filed with USMLE/NBME on or before January 20, 2010. So only a few days are left to get your appeal filed if you received notice that your score as indeterminate from the October and December Hearings. The Bennett Law Firm has represented six students before the Score Validity Committee of the Secretariat of the United States Medical Licensing Committee during the October and December 2009 hearings. The first four students have received notice that their scores on Step One and/or Step Two have been certified "as a valid measurement of your competence in the domains assessed by the examination (s)..." One of our clients had his/her Step One certified but his/her Step Two was determined to be indeterminate requiring either an appeal or a retesting. The Optima Student who receives the "unfair advantage" letter is faced with a decision to request a personal appearance before the USMLE Committee on Score Validity of simply submit what information that might have to get their test scores approved. Giving up the right to appear means that no transcript is made and no real record kept. Most attorneys would not recommend giving up this right.

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2017.

Partially Probated Suspension issued in TX, 2017

updated on 11/17/2021

Partially Probated Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. When the attorney returns to practice, he or she will be on probation, meaning the State monitors the attorney's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Robert’s comment:

“The judge who imposed the sanction was removed from office. The SBOT Assistant Disciplinary Counsel who handled the case has left the OCDC in disgrace and the Chief Disciplinary Counsel was replaced. If you go to www.ocdc-revealed.com, you will see that I was prosecuted for political reasons and the case was reversed. If you fight with vigor and determination for your clients, you will upset the powers that be. We fought, we won, and are now fully reinstated. We can win for you!”
