I was charged with an extremely serious crime (2nd degree felony) of which my memory of committing was extremely hazy, but seemed to be extremely out-of-character to myself and everyone who knew me. When I put the pieces together of what I had been charged with, the severity and duration of the punis...hment if convicted, and the amount of time it would take to work through the judicial system, I felt that the quality of life that I had previously enjoyed would be totally crushed. I began to speak to a large number of attorneys around Houston and ultimately felt most comfortable trusting Nicole. Although very clear that the charges were serious and finding any sort of resolution would be a tall order, I began to work with Nicole’s office to assemble a grand jury package for a possible “no-bill”. Nicole also discussed the other possible outcomes and strategies in my case (pre-trial diversion, deferred adjudication, probation, etc.) and was extremely accessible any time I had questions and concerns. She was proactive in instructing me as to what materials would be best for my grand-jury packet while also stressing that the “no-bill” was only a possibility. We went through several months of court appearances – all the while, I am walking on eggshells due to being out on bond. Several months after my arrest, I had a court date and left Houston that evening for business travel. Nicole advised that I would likely have my case brought before the grand jury within the upcoming weeks. When I returned about two weeks later, I expected to be informed that I had been indicted and that we would begin discussing plea bargains and probation terms. To my amazement, I discovered that the grand jury had returned a “no-bill” and that the case against me would be dismissed! Further, my arrest and all records related to the charges would be eligible for expungement. I cannot begin to express the gratitude that I feel towards Nicole. It was through her skill and effort that we were able to achieve the best possible scenario in my case and I am not sure that any other attorney in Houston would have been able to achieve the same result. Nicole has truly saved my life, and I could not imagine a more professional or effective attorney.

Wow!!! Nicole is just the Best Attorney you could have by your side. We hired her on a Federal case for my husband and she bailed him out on his first Bond hearing. Nicole was hired for writ case, she is evidence that diligence pays off. She is very persistence but careful. Her office staff is professional and thorough. Amazing! I recently hired Ms. DeBorde to represent me for an old misdemeanor case that turned into a warrant. This warrant had been on my record for 7 yrs.
