Cool but thoroughly factual.

I don’t know a lawyer that speaks poised, unapologetic, and honest with the truth. Ms Kemp knew the DA’s were going to take the approach of taking a side to protect their interests, but I saw her humble falsified statements, documents, and egos. She asked honest questions about the case, and had the ...plaintiff nervous. She gave incentives by rebuttals to one sided arguments about my brother who was and is now presumed innocent, but she also left the jury with questions about the tampered evidence against the defendant today that left the jury speechless, yet inevitably sure. Words cannot express how proud I am of her, and if I was in my brothers position I would’ve had her as my lawyer and consultant as well. She’s a diamond in the court of law, and I appreciate her for enduring this case to the wire/granular. If you’re innocent and need someone to prove it and protect your livelihood go with Ms Kemp! I’ve never met or seen someone shut down a case with soft words of wisdom. The jury knew this was a win for her after she explained the facts about the plaintiff lying about what ACTUALLY happened. Strong Professional Intelligent and Caring.

Unfortunately, I woke up and found myself in a very peculiar situation and had no ideal about how to deal with it, nor whom to call on to help me resolve this very confusing issue. Fortunately, Ms. JaPaula Kemp was assigned to my case. In the beginning of the case, I was in great doubt about the o...ut-come being the fact that Ms. Kemp was a court appointed public defender. Shortly after consulting with Ms. Kemp and being educated every step of the way I began to feel a lot more at ease as she began to draw a big picture of assurance that everything was going to be fine. My attorney didn't just inform me of up-coming court dates, but she in fact shared with me intricate facts about my case, pointed out general scenarios and gave me a much broader view of my case. Whenever I spoke with Ms. Kemp, she not only spoke to me about my case but was genuinely concerned about my family members well-being as-well. She always approached our meetings and conversations with a very positive attitude and always form a super positive point of view. Ms. Kemp always kept me thoroughly informed, kept me up to date with all of the court proceedings and definitely (positively) educated me in all aspects of the case. She made sure that I thoroughly understood all of the legal jargon to help keep me tied in and at ease during the entire procedure. Ms. Kemp not only helped me with my case, but she also helped me mentally cope with a process that I had no prior knowledge of. Ms. Kemp wasn't just a court appointed lawyer, she was an Advisor, Mentor, and Definitely a Blessing. Ms. JaPaula Kemp is the true definition of a public defender, she is an Authentic one-of-a-kind Attorney at Law. It was a Blessing being chosen by you; I couldn't have paid for a better lawyer. I really appreciate Attorney JaPaula’s help with my case. She was very thorough with my options and guided me through my case for the best outcome! I was able to follow directions and got my case dismissed.

Very Professional Lawyer and she is the best Japaula Kemp

I couldn’t ask for a better Lawyer. I was charge with Family Assault and Mrs Kemp was very professional and helped with my case getting dismissed. She is a great lawyer an I would refer her to anyone. I really appreciate her doing a wonderful job.
