fought hard for me and my kids

Ms.Williams took on my case after i had to let go of the horrible attorney before her. We were already in a tight spot and had to deal with three different judges of which two would not listen to nothing we had to say or provide for the court. But we endured...she helped me get my kids back and get m...y divorce. Nothing but good things to say about this lady here.

She horrible

I paid my retainer in 2016 after I retain Mrs. Williams I haven't had a personal phone call, no in personal conversation, only by email. I called her phone she don't accept message or return phone calls or emails back. This has not been a good experience or feeling knowing that this is something very... important in someones life that could make an huge impact on someone forever. She has a contract to were you can't get refunded back any of your money no matter if she doesn't return any messages not even if she not doing her job that you paid her to do. This is rediculous and this must be addressed with dealing with lawyers like this!

It is very difficult to respond to this review, as I have no such client. Normally, I would let negativity pass without further comment, but this review is filled with lies. First of all, it is a policy of this office that client contact be through the office (office phone, email, mailing address, etc.). I often have to return a client call when I am out of the office and will do so by mobile or other landline, but it is made clear to clients in their contracts that any mobile phone number that they come across (via caller ID for example) is not the correct form of communication for them to reach my office. Incoming client communications need to come in in one place, so if it is a phone call, it needs to come into the office, a provision which is included in the contract. At any rate, I have never refused a retained client the opportunity to set an appointment to come into the office. Under certain circumstances, I do require that clients who make certain requests, make them in writing (which includes email). Often, clients change their minds about things and ask why a certain thing was done or deny ever asking that it be done. The written request (including email) serves to remind them of their requests. So, if this review is actually from a client of mine, I would love to discuss it with him/her directly to see where this is coming from.

Disappearing Act

Ms. Williams accepted this divorce case in Nov '15 and the applicable retainer was paid. Communication was ongoing between myself and Ms Williams via email messaging. About 1000 pages of discovery paperwork was supplied to Ms. Williams prior to the March 14th, 2016 due date. It is now July 1st and... the last correspondence I received from Ms. Williams was April 26th without knowing if discovery paperwork has been exchanged. Multiple emails have not been returned. Multiple phone calls have not been returned and her voicemail is not accepting new messages.
