DON'T GET THIS LAWYER!!
I hired mr. Matinez on a case that I had for a dwi 3 felony. From the beginning I knew something was wrong. He didn't talk to me. Didn't ask me about myself nor about the case. Always on the run. I have had a couple of lawyer in the past and saw good reviews on mr. Martinez so I hired him. But this ...
I DO NOT THINK YOU WERE A CLIENT OF MINE! First, I am deeply disappointed that you feel that this way about your lawyer but this does not represent the work that I do. I have an open door policy for all my clients. We routinely schedule multiple appointments for clients at no additional charge. In fact, my clients receive my personal cell phone upon hiring me. Moreover, we ask all of our clients to provide a timeline of the events. Second, we have a portal system that allows clients to see all their evidence and communicate with me and my law firm remotely. Third, we respect the decisions our clients make, but I would have discussed any concerns you had beforehand. I would appreciate if you would call me to discuss what occurred because the spelling of my name, your version of events and lack of communication strongly suggest that you did not hire me. If you choose not to contact me I wish the best for you! While it is difficult to respond to an anonymous post like yours I will try to clear up some things for the public. As I clearly state to anyone that contacts me, a person that is convicted of a DWI 3rd Offender is REQUIRED BY LAW to do 10 days in jail even if I get probation for them. A person charged with a 3rd DWI is facing 2-10 years in prison. While the post states that they received the minimum PROBATION sentence it seems like they wanted a misdemeanor conviction that would require more than the 10 days in jail, that the probation requires. It is very difficult to get a 3rd DWI reduced to a misdemeanor. Also, every case is unique, but it is common knowledge that those in jail tend to misrepresent to their fellow inmates what they actually received. I will continue to be an advocate for anyone I represent while being honest and forthright concerning their specific situation.

Mr. Martinez and Mrs. Natalie are not just amazing at their jobs, but are incredible human beings!
I was arrested in Houston during Hurricane Harvey for POS/cont. sub. and a couple of other charges. I was from out of town, never been in any trouble with law enforcement. Wrong place, wrong time! Finally day 5 my wife found the kindest lady Mrs. Ivana to get me out. She was there at 8:00am as so...

Herman Martinez is a good lawyer.
I had something that I needed a non- disclosure for. Mr. Martinez- cleared it up that next week. Additionally, I also used the services of this lawyer for a DWI- delivered on that too. Also mentionable- was Natalie his assistant: she really made me feel secure and confident during the process. Martin...

Awesome First (and last) Experience In Criminal System
This was my first time dealing with the criminal court system. I met with three attorneys and called several others to handle my DWI case. I am the personality that stresses about detail and how someone presents themselves and the words they use. I was leery of Mr. Martinez at first for three main...

Trustworthy
Mr. Martinez and Natalie worked to dismiss charges in my case. From a felony to a dwi both dedicated to keep me updated and in top of my case and managed to get both dissmissed highly recommend it to anyone else.
"I regularly trust Herman with my referrals. I exclusively practice personal injury and a criminal charge against one of my clients could really hurt the personal injury case I am handling. When one of my clients needs help with a criminal matter, I get Herman Martinez involved."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have observed him personally for 16 years at the courthouse as he advocates so hard for every client, every accused person and for every cause in favor of a defendant. He shows an excellent grasp of all areas of criminal defense and works tirelessly for every person in his care. His clients are lucky to have him in their corner because he backs away from no fight, yet always maintains his professional demeanor. I highly recommend him."

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
"I endorse this lawyer."
"Herman is a great lawyer. He and I opposed each other several times over the years. Although he always fought hard for his clients, he always maintained his professionalism and prosecutors, judges, and juries would listen to him. Now that we're both defense attorneys, Herman and I often discuss cases with each other and bounce ideas off each other. I am proud to endorse Herman."
"Herman is in the courthouse every single day. He is always willing to fight for his clients, and he never backs down. He is a great lawyer who is also willing to lend a helping hand to fellow attorneys in the community."
"Herman Martinez is a great legal mind that will work tirelessly in order to achieve a great outcome for his clients. He is extremely knowledgeable in Criminal Law, especially when it comes to DWI matters. Herman has helped me throughout the years as a mentor, friend and cousin. His accomplishments and resume speak for themselves, a true leader in his field. He has helped mold me into the lawyer I am today and the lawyer I strive to become."
"Herman is a very good criminal defense lawyer who is respected by his opponents, peers, and clients because of his ability, personality, and integrity."
"Herman understands that his clients are facing a very stressful time and works to insure they fully understand all possible outcomes. He then follows that by giving them the best defense possible. Herman is a lawyer you can trust when your liberty is at stake."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. I have personally witnessed the fine work of this lawyer on cases I have sent to him."
