You have a better chance of winning the lottery than to have this guy return your calls or emails in a timely manner. Two years and still nothing got done with my case. Had to go to another attorney to get my case completed, and he got it done in only two months. Heed my warning, just please look el...sewhere.

I was pushed off onto this Attorney by my appointed one. He made many mistakes and did not help me as he should have. I was convinced to take a "plea bargain." BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! I was young, no family really, not a lot of money but gave everything I had...sat in jail forever....what was I s...up to do? I was scared to death..I had charges on me that were false! had never been in trouble. I lost my son, my life and am still paying for it...and do you think he cares? NO..you are only as good as your money, and even then you are not! I finally studied some law myself and have obtained ALL of my prior convictions and paperwork that clearly proves I was innocent!! I am getting a good Attorney this time and fighting my record, which has ruined any career I ever wanted, any job I needed and still need! His uncaring mistakes cost me my life and I am fighting to get it back. I would not recommend this Attorney. EVER!

I believe in reviewing a service provider whether they worked exceptionally or didn't perform to my expectations. This review is long overdue but here goes. I Modified my child support at the end of 2013. Mr. Barina showed up in court prompt, clean, cut and on time. He was extremely knowledgeable an...d experienced in the field of family. I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Sawyer his paralegal at the time she did an awesome job. At court Mr. Barina is like floyd may weather in the ring. It becomes apparent that this man lives eats and sleeps in court. The modification was quite complicated because he changed the order so that I could pay the house that my ex lived at as the child support opposed to sending her a check AND on top of that paying the house that she lived at. What made matters more complicated was that the judge did not want to buy it. He had actually changed the date so that we would have to come back to court 2 weeks later. It was very hard for me to hear that from the judge, since I would have to travel all the way home 800 miles and then back in 2 weeks. However Mr. Barina convinced me to call my ex so that he could explain the situation to her and highlight the benefits that it entailed. So my ex came into court Mr. Barina explained to her the order and the benefits thereof for all parties involved. He waltzed into the court room and spoke with the judge so that I wouldn't have to return in 2 weeks (especially since I was low on cash). My ex signed the paperwork. Voila nightmare over! i never made contact with Mr. Barina only on my first visit and on court dates . I call the office and only get an outside answering service. The paralegal there is very rude and she act as if she is the attorney . I only choose Mr. Barina because I hired him once before and he was excellent but time...s have changed as he never responded to any of my email or phone calls. He is a very passive attorney and only wants you to take the easy route Mr. Barina is not an aggressive attorney and for the price he asks for is no worth the service. Unfortunately I wish the old Mr. Barina would wake but I will never know because I won't ever use his services again as I had to report him and his staff to the bar. Do research even if you have used an attorney before I will never recommend this attorney to any.
