I am the founder and owner of the Law Office of Brett H. Pritchard. I founded the Law Office of Brett H. Pritchard in May 1999, and have been practicing in the area in the nearly two decades since that time. I handle cases concerning Family Law, CPS, Criminal Law, and Personal Injury.
I grew up the son of a military family: I moved from Hawaii, to Alabama, to Alaska, and finally ended up in Texas, which became my home. After graduating from Brigham Young University in Utah with a BS in Political Science, I returned to Texas to attend Law School at Texas Tech University. Following my graduating and certification as a lawyer by the State Bar of Texs, I began practicing in Central Texas. I have grown a reputation as a fierce litigator and a strong proponent for parents' rights when CPS has taken their children. I am particulary experienced in all facets of Family Law, including Military Divorce.
Outside of the workplace, I enjoy spending time with my family (consisting of my wife, Cindy, and 8 children: 5 boys, and 3 girls). I am a strong proponent of child abuse prevention and helping those that need assistnce to live as normal and as fulfilling lives as possible, and my firm is known throughout the community to support organizations that have taken up those causes.

I do not feel like they paid attention to my concerns and really they didn't help me at all. When I had my initial consultation I explained exactly why I wanted a lawyer and what my only concerns were. At the one and only meeting I needed my lawyer to be at he had no notes in front of him, no idea or...

I paid $6,500 upfront, and later gave them another $2,500 under pressure — over $9,000 in total. From day one, I told the attorney and his staff that another man was on my son’s birth certificate and that a legal Acknowledgment of Paternity was already on file. Despite that, the man was never served ...

This guys firm in Killeen sucks, everything everyone says is true. You come in and speak with a Lawyer and they quote you for the case but what they don’t explain is that that money is a “retainer fee”, which is basically money you put in that covers the case…. Until it doesn’t, and they won’t tell y...

I have had a very similar experience, including overpaying for services that were not provided, encountering rude lawyers, lack of communication, and having an inexperienced attorney represent me instead of the one I had hired. Contacting the firm and not receiving a response in a timely manner has b...

Terrible professionalism. I hired this firm based on the overall rating given on google. I wish I would have went through each individual review! You will literally wait weeks for an update on your case. The first time speaking to my lawyer she knew nothing about the case, the conversation was liter...
"Simply put, if CPS is coming down the block, call Brett. He is an absolute master of the CPS courtroom. I have sent him clients on many occasions because I know Brett will fight like hell for them. Many times I have watched him make a complete fool out of CPS workers who don't know their own SOP manual, let alone follow it. Strongly recommended."
"I have worked with his lawyer on many complicated matters throughout the years. I have found them to be diligent well prepared and bring her to just all the clients we come to him for help. I would work with him again."
