I grew up in the great metropolis of Granger, Texas. After graduating from Granger Independent School I attended Texas Tech University where I earned a bachelors of science in Human Development and Family Studies. After earning my undergraduate degree I attended the Texas Tech University School of Law and received my Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2009. I passed the Texas Bar Exam and was licensed to practice law in the State of Texas the very same year. I have focused my practice on Family Law ever since.

I am very dedicated to my work and believe that each of my client's concerns are very important. I do my best to personally understand my clients issues and be available for them. I believe that is crucial not only to represent their best interest but to also be a support for them through the hard times. I am married and habe two precious little girls so family and children mean the world to me. I use that drive to help as many people and families as I can.

Great Family Law lawyer

I have hired Renee more than once. She is always honest and offers the best advice. She is professional and makes sure you are aware of all the steps and processes. The last time we went to court I was a day away from giving birth and she was very understanding. I would hire and recommend Renee to anyone!

Amazing

Renee was extremely knowledgeable about my case and knew how to handle it I got turned down by a dozen different lawyers cuz of my case but Renee didn't and I won my custody because of her I would and will recommend Renee to anyone

So thankful for Renee!

I hired Renee to represent me in a child custody case. She was reasonably priced, extremely knowledgeable and did everything she told me she'd do. I was stressed to the max and Renee was encouraging and gave me frequent updates on my case. She responds quickly to emails and phone calls. Best in Texas!

I hired Ms. Kuhl to get custody of my daughter. She was nothing short of amazing throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond in every aspect of my case and she was able to get me everything that I was going for. She was spectacular and is hands down the best lawyer in Texas.

Tough!

I hired Mrs. Kuhl when I got divorced. She was very thorough and did not play around. I was nervous with all the threats my child's mother was making, but Renee calmed me down and reassured me she would take care of things and she did! She offers peace of mind with results! I highly recommend Mrs. Renee Kuhl for any of your family lawyer needs!

Divorce

Great lawyer who has research done, notes ready, and can present your case with solid arguments, she will win your case. Additionally she returns your calls or emails promptly. If she was my original lawyer my divorce would not have dragged on for 5 years. Thank you Mrs Kuhl.

An advocate for children by way of the law

Renee was warm and friendly while also being knowledgeable and assertive. You could absolutely tell that Renee genuinely cared about the well being of the children. Renee did the work and was amazing in the court room. She fought hard and ultimately not only got my husband and I what we thought was best with my husbands children, but helped us get what was truly best for our kids. She was always forthcoming about our options and her professional opinion. If you don’t hire Renee you’ll have a lot of regrets.

The best around

I hired Renee to help obtain primary custody of my two girls when I found out the situation in which they were living. Renee far exceeded any of my expectations. She is very professional,knowledgeable and extremely helpful. With her help I was awarded custody of my girls and can give them the life they deserve.

Godly Counsel

Termination/step parent adoption

Renee was amazing! She took time to address each aspect of my case. Both her and Ronel Bynum kept in contact with me and were very realistic about my potential outcomes! Renee fought hard on my case and I’m excited to say we won!!! I was told that terminations are rarely granted in the state of Texas by several different lawyers. She worked diligently to make my family the exception. She also ensured that I had everything I needed going forth to be successful! Ronel was extremely helpful as well she answered my questions (all 150 of them) in a timely manner and informed me of upcoming hearings. I would recommend this team to any and everyone.

Recommendation

Always there to answer my questions

I just want to thank Mrs. Kuhl and her legal assistant, Pearl, for everything. Pearl was always there to answer my questions and showed awesome support. Mrs. Renee, she was "my Rock." Thank you for keeping me firm in what was right me and my boys. She never lost her cool when my ex called her and me horrible names. I recommend this lawyer because in reality this is my 2nd divorce with this firm with good results each time. God bless.

Would not choose again

She was nice, but failed to inform me of things that could have benefitted me greatly (I found out from another source, after my case was closed). I do not feel that she had my best interest at heart. She seemed to be friendly to the opposing attorney and did not stand up and represent me well. Inexperienced, yes. She seemed to coward when I mentioned wanting something that was well within my rights, and was granted, but at a much lower rate (because I did not know I could get more and she failed to tell me), than what was actually due me. I would not choose her again.
